Was out on Lake O couple days ago and noticed in the rough seas a soft spot on my floor. The floor was replaced once before with marine plywood by my grandfather. He has since passed so ill be doing this one on my own or having it hired out. Does anyone know of a place that replaces floors around the Ithaca area?

Finally wrapped up 4 years of college up at IC so i was more then excited to get the boat out for a shakedown cruise. Couple of my buddies had just about heard enough of me talk about fishing the lake all winter long so they decided to come along for the trip. Put in at Myers and headed up the east shoreline up to miliken and then back down to the point. Ran 1 wire down the shoot, 2 riggers and 2 short cores off in-line planers. Stayed anywhere from 160-210 FOW and ran into a mixed bag of salmon, bows and lakers but not a touch from a brown all day. Ended up going 9 for 18. Anything green seemed to be the ticket today.
Im looking to buy a set of gimbal gunwale rod holders. Im looking for the track system or something similar to it that holds just two rod holders. Im not looking to drill any extra holes in the side of my boat so im trying to use my gimbal side mounts to add two extra rods for a better dispy spread
Im used to be neighbors with tom chiotti, who was higher up in the DEC for our region and he tried stocking walleyes in the mid to late 90's not sure exactly what year but i do know that they stocked them at 3.5 to 4 inches in length and after two years of no return they figured that most of them had been eatin as bait by larger fish and scrapped the program but according to you guys a few of them made it and grew to some size. I agree with mower i have logged many a hour of the water without seeing one. This past winter fishing out in front of AES cayuga the guy next to me hooked into about a 3lb eye that he returned back to the water. I personally would love to see them introduced into the water it would add an extra wildcard species to our everyday pick
i went and purchased 30lb mason wire and spooled it up on one of my empty pen reels so lets give em hell! Are u suggesting using flashers and spinnies with flies off the dipsies over a spoon presentation?
Ive heard nothing but good things about dipsy divers on the site this winter so i went out and tried to build 2 set ups. I bought 2 dipsies #0 and #1 and also 2 walker deeper divers 84 and 107 i believe are the numbers. From what i have read this far i should have went with wire but i bought 65lb power pro instead to try and save me from buying a wire rod. Basically my questions to you guys is what size dipsies work best #0 or the #1? Do you prefer walker deeper diver or dispy divers? And finally do i need to run a snubber? i feel as though it might take away from the action? I appreciate the help guys!
By the time i got down there the north point was a mix for 1-2 footers and slush coming down from the falls, i worked both sides of the inlet and down by the beach without a touch but it was just nice to get out
