dry gas makes it worse as i've been told,i had a partial tank i treated with stabil last fall, the 260 started and ran good this year.If you got real water in your tank it should show up my siphoning the bottom of the tank in a clear container.I thought mine was water but it turned out a stuck float and dirty carb from ethonal damage to lines.water seperator works but filters can only sevice so much water and then they dont work

ive used the sunbrella cleaner and also the water proof treatment. It was advised by John Manns sodus bay canvas .Works well just had to soak the seems more for waterproffing

tmight pay a dime more but save about heres a big extra few no about ,you got alot better gas mileage.I bet mine is aroud 20 to 25 % better using the 91 octane at fasttrack.

lots of fish still around. The temperature should be much better and the fish will be in shallower water.I bet the salmon fishing in the lake.will be good well into october this year.Lots of jumbo perch around also.,had some from monday and they were great.

Called today and got the word on a slow start on perch. If we get the weather predicted the perch should be starting to come in the bay.Last year i heard they had a great run.Alot of big perch and no limit.

Joe, That fish sure looks like a coho.We caught enough of them back in the ninetties.I ended up 1 for two hits just west of you before you went east.Im going to try some of my old flashers and flys had good luck late last year along with running a silver horde chasing the fly.

reminds me of the old days when my son's use to go out salmon fishing.Beware of the bass fishing tournaments they steal your crew.

Nightcrawlers? They work well with the biggies in the bays and by the piers and jettys, like at Sodus Pt. Niiice! And no gobies?? Great, if not or very few. This is what many of the smallie guys want and have sort of given up on in the last few seasons or so....
The trick with worms or crabs is to never let them get close to the bottom.Sometimes ill catch a goby if there are boulders or large rocks that cause the bottom to come closer to the bait.
There is a freiend of mine who has caught alot of bass on a fly rod in closer ,so bait is not the only solution.
good fishing

Fished wednsday with some sucess.Caught a few in 20 ft.then i moved out to thirty and thirty five feet I found a large school surounded by bait schools and action was great.Had to leave shortly after I found the spot.I went back later and the bait had spread out alot and the schools of bass had disapaited .Caught some nice size in close 20 ft. just before dark.
Look for the birds and youll find the bait and bass.
I used nightcrawlers about two feet up from a drop sinker.

Hi,
I fished lately anywhere from 15 to forty foot.Look for baitschools and youll find alot of smallies. It takes awhile to locate them but the effort pays off. Nightcrawlers fished 2 ft off the bottom.I also use a camera when I find the schools.
Realy suprised more people arnt fishing for them.
Caught some nice perch also shallow.

Hi, I went out friday for awhile ,fished the afternoon. Most of the fish were at the 130-160 mark down about 100. I had five on ,boated zip.Well it was a shake down trip checking my new depth raider. It worked ok under 100 ft. but shut off when it went deeper. I was realy suprised when it said i was only going 1.5 ,it seemed more like 2.5 at the surface. I was trolling east. All the hits were at 105-110.Magnum slamers ,black widow and blue dolphin. No hits on the spin doctors or flys.T o make it more difficult my paper graph died, broken belt. It was a sitex and that belt was orginal after all these years.Had to rely on my lowrance flasher for depth and picture.
Well hope to out later today if the lake lays down.
I ended out off boulder and took a bouncey ride back to port.
One good thing was trolled 4 hours and used maybe 2 gallons on the kicker and maybe four on the 120.
Good luck sunday, looks like a good day to fish.
