    I was May 8th, got two lakera one 18" the other 23". I trolled one copper line which I caught both Lakers on and two mono lines with stickbaits, that did nothing.     I've got a 17 deep v tracker and have a entry level big jon downrigger. I have a 8 pound ball and when its down a 100 ft. its behind the boat a ways. I would take the guys advice above and get a 10# weight.

    I have a bass tracker deep V17. I've towed it up twice and couldn't fish the lake either time. But it was nice fishing in Fair Haven bay. Just didn't catch any browns. Perch, bullhead and rack bass were the fish of the day.
