    Saw they plowed a track for the ice bikes behind bay side at the north end of I bay. Heard 4-5 inches of hard black ice.

    I totally agree. I was on the the ice at Southpoint marina. Shallow water. I won't go near the deep water till at least a foot of ice.

    Unplanned fishing trip with the little woman and her sis. Started in 130fow riggers at 75/55. 45/25. First laker 10 min. In. Few more small Lakers over the next couple hours. Decided to troll out to 300fow. Picked up a Skippy king at 220 down 70 on a rigger. Screen was blank most of the time after that so went south back to 90-110 fow. Screen lit up with all sorts of marks. Only thing hitting were the Lakers. 4 more in the boat in the next hour. Biggest was a 12.9lbs just a little to small to go weigh in. Still had a fun day.     Dien to get out. Putting all new gear on the boat this year. Scotty riggers and new boards. Unfortunately I have to wait for IRONDQUOIT to the completely thaw.
