  6. Hey, my name is Ed, I am a fishing enthusiest. I am originally from the left coast (Washington State). I have availibility to observe most weekends. I have not fished any tourney's before, and have interest in watching, and learning. I am far from tournament ready! Anyway, if anyone is looking for an observer, that is familiar with how to get out of the way, keep mouth shut etc..... ping me, and we'll try to work something out. Ed

  11. Hey, this is Ed, the soldier owner of Bobber Down. I am looking to headed out tomorrow, and hoping to get into the kings if they are biting, or maybe a couple browns if they are not. Looking for advice as to what they are biting on, or if there is somewhere that they are biting, that I need to head to in. I appreciate any advice, and if you are not comfy posting publicly the depth/ lures/ locations/ grids, please PM the info to me, and I will keep it confidential. I only have 50 days left to fish here in NY before I am transfered out of state again, so I am trying to get into the fish as soon as possible. Thanks for the tips. Tight lines! Bobber Down!
  12. Wholly cow, that is more than they retail for, and only 85 spoons in the photos. If they are new, where are the packages? Look used to me if they are not in packages. I will give you $100 for the lot if you are serious about selling them.
  13. check out http://syracuse.craigslist.org/boa/1791201545.html
  14. can I get a photo of it? and the weight of the anchor?
  15. I purchased an 03 model for similar $$ off ebay, I love it. You can find deals out there, you just gotta keep an ear to the ground.
  16. Out on the lake (Cayuga) on the 9th of April, I seemed to have lost the little plastic cover on my scotty downrigger. It is the small 4" or so round cover that covers the depth counter. If you have one on a busted/broke or other rigger, or an extra you have somehow acquired, please let me know. Thanks, Ed "Bobber Down" purchased one, thanks.
  17. Ok, so I went out of Cayuga this afternoon, Launched around 2pm and fished until 6:30pm Caught 2/2 1 17" ----didnt weigh it, wasnt worth turning on the scale for.... caught on pearch colored 4" rapala stick bait 1 7lbs 0oz -----Excellent fish, put on a great show, and a good fight. caught on a 6" stick bait, with blue top, orange bottom, chrome sides and black vertical stripes over chrome sides. Big one caught in 12' of water 54 degree surface temp Lil one caught in 35-60 ft of water, was just up the east side coming up from the south where the steep cliffs are. Big one was caught in front of the sailboat marina area in the SE corner of the lake. Thanks for all who responded to me and gave me advice, as you can see I followed it, and it produced. 4hrs on the lake in late afternoon and a couple fish. I think both fish were caught between 3pm and 430pm. OH yeah, Father in law made me hold the minnow. TIGHT LINES
  18. Thanks for the update Final Flight. I am going to hit Cayuga, never been there before, so it will be a new experience. I am taking my boat, Bobber Down. if anyone is out there, look for me on the radio, I would be happy to receive/give a fishing report based upon what my activity looks to be. I should be out there around 1PM and will most likely fish til sunset. IF anyone has any further advice on stick colors or spoon colors, please PM me or post here so I can take a look. I will be headed out around 10am as I have to swing by the airport to pick up my Father in Law, enroute to the fishin hole. Tight Lines! Ed
  19. I appreciate it, My range of where I am willing to travel would be anywhere within 2 hrs drive 1 way. Thanks again.
