I did my shimano tekotas this year with the upgraded carbon fibers as well. Was not that bad. Just lay them on order as you take it apart. Clean REEL well and put the carbons in dry, lubing other moving parts. The longest part of the process is cleaning the old "crap" out... Good luck, Nick [ Post made via Android ]

Well, I finally bit the bullet and got a winter beater kind of like the guys who buy the low end rusty cars for winter time so their pretty hondas with aftermarket bumpers and a cold air intake can sit in the garage... Yeah, I gave in.. Got a great deal on this oldy but goody. Its a 78 Grady. I am looking forward to making some serious memories and REEL STORIES aboard it. Looks like a great boat for all year round. Even a trip to Lady O!! Going to slowly add some gear. If anyone knows much about the 150 rudes, and wants to fill me in on the pro and cons that'd be great... I was thinking of naming it POND HOPPER... Nick

she somehow always seems to have the older stuff with new tags on it... Store might be messy but shes the nicest lady in the world and she will do anything to get it for ya too..

Mount a seperate tank and add a kicker aka 25-50hp motor. That's what I would do. assuming your rig is no longer than 34foot
