first thing is first.. DOn't ever panic.. I know sounds corny but really.. Being I slip my boat next to a gas dock, I see peopel with 16 footers to 46 footers and when someone panics its the worst outcome... Just stay calm, and you will stay in control.. You got this

Again guys and gals, friday, July 13th is the deadline for the Seneca Shootout I've heard a lot of on the fences.. Because people are not signing up, well, sign up, they will too!!

well, I can try to explain, but I can say that its easier to show one, and walk them through it.. When you come into the dock.. well what year trophy? Volvo? MErc? ... You can work your shifter... I see alot of people that have a tendency to just drive in fast and hope their mates catch them.. Use your gears and steering. I like to come in with my bow toards the dock I am coming to, just a tad bit, and when I get the nose where she is close, I steer the outdrive towards the dock and shift to reverse, easy not hard. Just ease it in and out once or twice, she will come over ever so gentle and youre home.. Everyone does something different.. Were you at the launch today on seneca in watkins? The spiffy brandy new trophy?!?!

Awesome! Yeah it treated us pretty good today, by it I mean that mean lake called Seneca.. I accidently donated one of my fish hooks to the lake, the fish shook when she was ready to go and it tweaked my wrist enough to let go.. OOOPS. Well the fish gods were listening..

Well, not that I am not on my phone, I can post a reprort. Spin doctors and atomik flies did the damage today. Fished deeper than normal. Worked the cold water, not much going on up high except weeds and fleas. Weeds were terrible no moatter where you go and fleas were intermittently bad with changing temps. The current was insane. I felt like i was on Ontario... Whats causing the water to move like that with no winds? Anyways here is a few pictures... we released all fish.. Did some big boys today one of which was 13.2 lbs.. No clips either

Stick with a nice affordable unit, a Humminbird piranah Max will do fine, and spend that extra dough on fish hawk or even a subtroll... The hawk is what I hear is the enxt best thing.. I currently run a Subtroll900.. Only complaint is the coated cable, but it makes a difference! Fish those temperatures!!

Fuel filter or fuel water seperator... Great start.. In fact guy that shares my dock with my just had the same issue. He could do it all, except get up on plain... Just wouldnt do it.. I told him to change fuel filter.. He did and has not had a problem since.. However, he did say he took it off five times and drained it... That baffled me..

What they said... If you do make it to watkins glen, Frog Hollow Marina is non Ethanol at 4.89 gallon..

Fish higher... these fish tend to relax in 54-55 degree water.. generally speaking.. fish a spoon with a lot of action and don't be afraid to fish fast for them... my top choice of spoons would be DW SS bloody death and orange gangster. Or Michigan stinger steelie stomper.. find the temperature and bait and I bet you will hit some steel.. maybe even a coho.. [ Post made via Android ]
