  1. thanks guys!!
  2. My sea ray had factory tinted windows, Everyone at my Marina who has the cuddy cabins have tinted windows too... Makes Sense, who wants sunlight when youre trying to take the nap on the water....
  3. Well, I have ran cannons For 4 years, but got rid of them bc they were getting weak and i wanted to switch it up with the new rig and try new gear.. and switched to Scottys this year. Currently the scottys have braid on the port and sarboard, and the center has coated cable for the probe. They pull up my 13lb torpedos like its nothing and i have no complaint for them, except, the height of my riggers, you gotta be careful where youre standing, when you hit the up switch, you hit something else!!! dropped to me knees 3 times this weekend as did the other guy on the boat. But i love the performance of the scottys. I will stick with them til they prove me wrong... Good luck in your search. Nick O

  6. Wes, working great and LOVING every Second of it, with having the class over with, and the boat in the water, my shoulders feel like a big rig has been lifted off!
  7. good. Keep me posted.
  8. Its interesting in the canal in Watkins when Catherine is treated. I see some floating seagulls. Can that be good? See alot of Small Lamphreys killed, but no big spawners??
  9. Thanks Sean. Any new news on yours?
  10. Well Gents, We braved the waters saturday, waiting til 11 or so to get out there and ended up going 7 for 10 in just a few hours, Wind was heavy out of the south and only being at hector falls, waves were built, BIG!! All fish came in water 70-100 down over 230 FOW. Sunday, We did well, hit lake at 6 am expecting same conditions, well, weather man was wrong. Wind stayed calm and gentle blow out of the west. Lake was more than fishasble, Hit the East side right away and nailed fish instantly. Leadcores, and riggers were our hot ticket today. Nk, and Stingers being the go to's. Kept two lakers today for the grill. Here is a few pics from the weekend. Tight Lines, Nick O.

  15. Awesome. Hey i haev to warn you, where Catherine spits into the canal in Montour, there is tree, submerged about a foot under the surface, hard to see..its in about 9 foot of water towards your starboard heading north. Watch out for it.. Right as you come up onto the mouth...
  16. I like this shot the best.. I wanna see water under her!!
  17. Awesome Jeremy, where are you Launching? at montour? I will meet you on the water, possibly troll some flatlines down to montour to shoot some BS with ya if youre around. Rick, Thanks again for the riggers! Dave...Where have you been, i have been worried sick!!!

  21. Hanah- Best way to run your spinnies on the FLX is about 6 foot from the ball.. I use 17lb mono with about a 10 foot fluoro carbon leader.. Seems to work well. With the Lakers..For me i have found it common to find the lakers in the water column up high from feb-mid may... Last summer we had a few instances where we got lakers in the Lodi area on 3 color Leadcores, which isnt too far down... The lakers sure are spunky this year... I cant wait to get the rig on her maiden voyage this weekend!! See you Guys out there!! Nick
  22. Thanks Guys. The kicker is definately going to be worth it and i hope the platform mounts work like it should..I had to do alot of reinforceing. Also, the boat is an 86. Jeremy. Where are ya gonna take your maiden voyage boss?? If youre on Seneca give me a shout if ya got my number still.. Nick
