  1. Well, with all of the hard work and determination... Its almost time to say its paid off.. I'm gonna miss the ole Sea Ray, but this trophy is starting to look look like a fishing machine!! It makes me look like i know what Im doing!! Heres a few pics of the new upgrades! Enjoy fellas...
  2. Good Job, Beautiful Brown!!!! Congrats. thats a nice fish!!
  3. Mortality comes with all kinds of fishing. Your better off complaining about the guys in the creeks ripping bows and browns in their stomachs, just to get a photo.... Were all on the water to have fun and catch fish. If you prefer to go out and wash lures with no hooks so be it, at least you can say you didn't harm any fish!! but your lines were tight! So keep it that way. Warm weathers here. Lets FISH!! Nick
  4. Seneca duuuuh fish on!!!!!

  7. Boy oh boy Ed, I think youre from Pa and you keep fish? HMM, naaahh. Dont worry, with the rising fuel costs ill be sure to be on the lake, waiting to tow people in!! haha. Boat goes in the water thursday guys. Anyone want in on a shake down saturday so we can show a "REPORT"..
  8. well, no reports for me!! Despite a sudden job loss, boats not gonna leave the dock And this is a true post. But you know what, we had a great winter and enjoyed ourselves. People need to learn to practice cath and release as much as possible. I try too. I do nott keep a native laker unless he cant be burped. Also, I agree with Rshubuck. Singles and tripled can be argued all day long, but it will never be settled. And to anyone on the water, you can come visit at the dock. Bullhead will be in soon.
  9. Cohocton gets stocked tomorrow. Cayuta is tomorrow or today..forgot. Sing sing and Newtown are on the same day as well. Which i believe is tomorrow. Have fun with the Tiny guys i like the ultra light fly rod and a pocket full of wollybuggers

  19. Well guys, I worked on the boat at the marina today, and my dock is nearly underwater!!! The lake is high and the canal if thatwed out. Yesterday there was a tree, about 50 foot in length give or take and spread about 20 feet wide.., anyways it was stuck on a dock yesterday. Well, today that tree was gone. Not sure which way the current took the tree and if its still afloat or under water. Be careful fellas at the launch. I know there were alot of rolled props last season in the early year. Wear those polarized!!! Granted there is no boats in the marinas, take it slow! Be safe and 22 more days til splashdown!!! As always, tight lines. Nick
  20. Stopped at Catherine and its tribs yesterday, Lets just say i liked what i saw and seeing fish that are already dark, and possibly dropping back soon is nice.. . Crick might be high, the fish are flyin..
  21. I dont think a no fishing area on catherine would make a diffeence Jeremy, I agree, a majority of fish are taken in the first week, and its nothing but lifters and snaggers from Kaufer dam to kaufer dam. I saw last yr alone, many fish taken that were not in the mouth, but what can we do? DEC patrols that creek hourly and I have yet to see tickets written on opening day. However, if you go in december, when the browns and bows are in there heavy, the fishing is great, and i still see a group of guys there with their salmon lifting rods and they are chasing the fish in the low clear waters.. This past november i caught a Landlock with my net next to the bank that someone had lifted, and they had taken a knife and sliced the fish open and took all of the eggs from the fish. I released to fish of course, but i doubt it lived. They should of just kept the fish instead of slicing it. Some people have no respect, not only for the fishery, but the fish as well. i once heard one guy say, it doesnt matter how many he catches, or how many he kills, the fish wont be there after he dies, so why not get as many as he can....IMO thats a wrong way to look at it. \\Anything the DEC can do to help the fishery on the fingers and anywhere else, i back it up
