There is coverage of all weigh stations. Also, i heard campsites are getting low already for sampson for the derby. My crew member just booked his site, because i wont let him on the rig! Hey Gang, Fished seneca today on bob's boat. Lake was nice and somewhat co-operative. Fished right out of watkins. From about 8:30 am til 3. Boated around 20 fish or so. we ran boards with 3 color and 5 color leadcores. Wire dipsys. Color was chartreuse and Watermelon. Stinger and DW spoons were the ticket with some NK 28s firing too. Tried a style of using the boards i havent in years since i was a little tyke. Used just the normal smaller dipsy, with mono, out on the board. ran her back 80 foot. i figured its diving around 30 foot or so. Didnt take long and it fired. Real nice football brown right off the bat. Flat lined a stick for a while about 80 foot in the prop wash, took one shot. Alot of cookie cutters and nice lakers on the wires @ 250 on counter. North and south troll produced. Shortly after, wires were going back and forth from side to side.. Look up and wire fires as setting the other. Thought it was gone when the shakes quit. Ended up being a brute of an Atlantic. Must of charged the boat... . With doubles being pretty common today, and potential triples, today was a great day. Surface temp is 39 degrees. We were the only boat on the water. It was nice, and always a pleasure fishing with good friends. Hope to be out again next weekend. Tight lines guys. Nick O

hey there. went out last saturday. all fish came on leadcores. The 5 color was our best. fish hit wires from 150 to 280. no specific pattern. should be out saturday again out of watkins. tight lines, nick [ Post made via Mobile Device ]

The problem youre facing is similar to one i had in the past. How are your bellows? Good? Poor? The seal for youre shaft could be bad? I had my outdrive done last spring on my alpha one generation 2, all together i paid about 500 to have all seals changed, impellor and gimball bearing changed. i found the kit on the internet, but paid my mechanic to do the work in his spare time. I know my information may not help, but i have had the service done on my drive, so any info in costs could always be apreciated.. good luck.

Happy new year! Your problem sounds very interesting. and similar to mine. I had a humminbird 788ci. worked great for a few months then started doing the same thing. i sent it to mfgr and they sent it back with a new transducer. i put the new one on. Worked good for a week and did it again. It worked great on ontario, when i came back to my home lake, seneca, it did it again.. Hey guys, made it out on a good friends boat today to break some cabin fever. We stayed in the southern end on the western side. Fished from 930-330. Boated 23 fish of 26 hooked. Felt nice to catch some fish. Browns, Lakers, Landlocks were the species today, hot color was green everything!! Presentation, fast slow side to side worked great. Had one triple and numerous doubles. Had a great time. All fish healthy and released. Cant wait to go again. tight lines to all. nick

Well, i saw the boat at Billy bobs marina and heard of the story. The boat is smashed, luckily they made it to the rocks and are alive. I ask that people be respectful, due to the fact that, Sh*t happens. I am sorry if this offends anyone. Good friends of mine hit the breakwall this past summer in the middle of the night. I am glad they are still here today, Seneca and all lakes have claimed many good hearted lives over the years, if someone makes it out alive, well we should be greatful for them. Hey guys, i am selling three of my cannon downriggers. 2 are cannons with autostop from mid 90's.. The other is a cannon mag 10 as well but without the autostop. the two were taken to screwlouies in 09 for teardown and assembly. they work ok. not as fast as they used to be. The other likes to pop the breaker once in a while. i think it needs a motor..not sure tho. i will be switching to scottys this spring and no longer need cannons. two are extendable booms with rear mount rod holders, other is a med length custom boom with single rear rod holder if interested you can pm or call. let the three of them go for $400 obo. have been fishing it regularly. The best so far this year was mid november and the 2nd week of december. Now it is very clear and low. lots of ice. However there are fish holding in deeper holes. Stopped tonight before dark on way back from marina. Caught a yearling tonight. Time to hit the lake!!!

Drove up today to check on my boat at ervays marina, then drove to southern shore. Canal is glass, the village launch has no ice and there were plenty of boats out i will be there tomorrow to fish with a friend. see ya out there
