I finally purchased a Bass Boat... it was a tough decission to let go of my mulity speicies boat . After riding in a buddies boat at 70 MPH... I knew i was sunk... and had to have one It's 2004 Ranger 185VS with a 2011 175 HP E/TECH The motor only has 89 hours on it, and has 2 years remaining on the warranty A few fish that has come across her gunnels

  5. yes... Ever since the first time I went to Port Hope, Ed has alweays kept me informed on whats going on... or wether it was worth making the drive down... if the fishing was slow, Strange!!
  6. Ii deal with ED right at Port Hope Launch(tackle store and rest)... Ed is a pretty good guy and hes always willing to help out fishermen. I don`t know where Don`s is ? I'm glad you found the fish. They will be starting to Stag at the river mouth soon.... then its combat fishing time(LOL)
  7. Port Hope is fishing well right now, we found fish at 116 to 150 FOW down 85, flasher and fly did a lot of damage, off the riggers and wire and dipseys
  8. how can you not love this ?? Lake Ontario, even with all the fishing that goes on....its still a real secret to the rest of Canada and the States. Great report, hope to see the picure
  9. Hi Psychodad... we fished anywhere fron 116 to 165 feet, down about 80 to 90 feet, if the wind is good, you should have no problems in your boat... just watch the WEATHER. check with ED.. he owns the tackle shop and resturant at the launch he should be able to give you more up to date information on fish location. Good Luck
