Hi Psychodad... we fished anywhere fron 116 to 165 feet, down about 80 to 90 feet, if the wind is good, you should have no problems in your boat... just watch the WEATHER. check with ED.. he owns the tackle shop and resturant at the launch he should be able to give you more up to date information on fish location. Good Luck

  17. Wow, that's fantastic, I'm not to sure if we have Grass Carp over here.... I talk to a lot of Carp Anglers from around the world here on the Long Sault Parkway on the St. Lawrence river... And none has ever mentioned that they had caught on or ever seen one... I'll be looking real close this Spring in the Spawning beds. Open invitation to you and your buddies if you ever want to come over for a weekend to fish for Carp, like i said to DF... just bring rain gear, i can out fit up 8 fisherman with equipment... over here we are only allowed to use one rod... in N.Y. you are allowed 2.. we hope to get this changed soon, but 30 to 40 fish a day is common here. check out the Gallery on this site, the owner Jeff is a good friend and a great Carp guide. http://www.canadiancarpclub.on.ca/
