I have an I/o cable steer with a kicker with e- z steer rod ( no power assist ) . I installed the Intellisteer octopus system at the helem for cable steer with remote steering. They have it for hydraulic steering and just for the kicker steer only (type R ) .at the time think it was around 600 $ . I was going to add the auto pilot computer and compass to it but never got around to it. Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

fisherdude replied to Pete Collin's topic in Finger Lakes Discussion
This is what I do . I know how many feet from bottom leader to top leader . 1 pass with the level line 309 is 5 foot . I put the top leader down 6 passes that will be 30 down on top and pushing 100 foot on bottom . Will pick up slivers on top leaders Lakers on bottom . When targeting the bottom for Lakers I will run cowbells Gambler spinning glows and 1 leader with glow spoon just above the bells .. Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

Cayuga Major theft in Aurora last night
fisherdude replied to justtracytrolling's topic in Finger Lakes Discussion
No matter if you fish for silvers or bronzebacks or any other species , Nobody should have their gear stolen from their boat. Hope the thieves get caught soon !!!!!! Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app -
I printed the certificate. It says it's good for 90 days. Therefore you must purchase the New York State icon or send for the card. When you hear the word free it's not really free. Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Thanks for the link . I took the course and pass . It said can send to my email to print a temporary card . Or can send to the state to get the anchor icon added to the license for $ 13 and change . Or have a permanent card sent to you for $12 something. I guess not exactly free. If I'm reading this right.... Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Cayuga 3rd annual Tom Margeit memorial Derby
fisherdude replied to suttontroller94's topic in Finger Lakes Discussion
I registered today,I'm not experienced with this type of Derby the only other one was the LOU all in . That day I box out and back on the trailer by 1 pm .( 4 foot waves had a little to do with that also ). I went to the club and had to wait to weigh in after 3 . Is this derby the same or can you weigh in say 1 :00 . I get the 3 pm cut off . Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

Fished 5:30 to noon . Ran down to just about sheldrake set up in 300 foot of the water. Used 1 Seth green , 1 down Rigger , 2 dipsys , 1 copper rod down chutes . Ran spoons , spin doctors and flies , dodger and flies . Spoons did most of the damage but all work . We did a lot of slivers but only 3 were legal. Biggest fish was a 10 lb Laker. A rain bow hit the Seth green on the 3rd bead down and carried a two lb weight and got a foot of air . When we boated the fish I couldn't believe the little guy was able to get air like it did .. best sonar screens were before sheldrake and south . While nibbling on smoke salmon from the big pond in the boat today no fish were kept .. Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I thought the dock was a well done job too . Thanks for the tips today. felt awesome to feel the line being rip off the reel . Sure don't get that on the finger lakes . Met John early morning and then again at the dock coming back in . He hung out and waited to help me dock up with a boat forward on the dock . Was a big help I can't see what's directly in front of the boat or the dock for that matter . Thanks John. I bet he will be willing to go again after those kings ... [emoji3].
