  1. When I'm out on that end of the lake, we always hit Mariner's Landing. Great place to eat or have a couple adult beverages.
  2. Furuno 585 is my choice as a fishfinder. Best on the market without going to a commercial unit, IMO.
  3. I agree! You can't go wrong with them.
  4. Fastrac in the town of oswego has it, or the gas dock in the oswego river has it.
  5. I have a 265 Pro Hunter with an I/O and it does the same thing. I was told that this is a characteristic of the I/O. I'm not sure if this info was correct, but I live with it. (Of course I let the autopilot deal with it). I wish I could be more help. Good luck!
  6. Thanks Brian! Hope for flatter waters.
  7. Target the bottom where you have 55 degree temp, and fish it like we fish lake trout on the bottom of Champlain. It usually works well, but be prepared to see some larger browns. They're a lot of fun this time of year. Tight lines!
  8. You can get it at tractor supply. $20 for a 32 oz. bottle
  9. When I had to replace the parts on mine, I dealt with Raymarine directly. They were great to work with and got me going in the right direction. The prices weren't really out of line either.
  10. I agree, I run 4 optima's and had them over 5 years now. I love them, but they don't give them away.
  11. I'm on the dock that was hit and personally know the guys who were ripped off. Security is a JOKE! Anybody who wants is walking up and down these docks, checking out these boats. There should be a gate and camera at the end of every dock so the owners are the only ones allowed on the docks. The people who did this were way to comfortable doing what they did. Anyone coming in for the Pro-Am should beware of Wright's landing until they can get there act together! Good luck to all this weekend!
