    Not a big fan of hearing this. Headed out there from the 12th-17th for browns. I was hoping to hear it'll at least would've started breaking up by now.

    Ughh, I don't like hearing that about the Mexico area. We are headed that way the week of April 12th. Come one warm weather.

    Remember those PFDs on Nov 1. Forthose that live/fish in NY. Life Jacket Wear Requirements Beginning November 1, 2009, Section 40, Subdivision 1 of the Navigation Law shall be amended by adding new paragraph (e), which reads as follows: No owner or operator of a pleasure vessel less than twenty-one feet, including rowboats, canoes, and kayaks shall permit its operation, between November first and May first, unless each person on board such vessel is wearing a securely fastened United States Coast Guard approved wearable personal flotation device of an appropriate size when such vessel is underway. Failure to wear a lifejacket on such vessels will be considered a violation under Section 73-c if the Navigation Law and is punishable by a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $100, applicable to either the operator and/or the owner of the vessel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1xohI3B4Uc

    No the riggers do not attach to the front. They tie in to the rear and are very secure while fishing.

    Thanks for the feedback everyone. We'll be up there wind or no wind. We're are just hoping it's not too bad.

    Next week is our annual trip to Lake O from some early spring browns. We typically are in Mexico Bay but it looks as if it's going to be pretty windy (20mph) M-W and was wondering if the Oswego Harbor would be decent enough to try with those winds? Plus we've never hit the harbor before and any hints you may have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
