My place is 20acres that i let small deer pass on about every 2 yrs i get a chance to wack a 140 +. Just seems this year a lot of you Hunters are seeing and getting some great deer. I have seem 1 buck this year.

Dan do you hunt a sanctuary. With all the big deer u see. This has been a very slowed yr in kendal.

Ray nice deer. Posts r great with good info. Tuesday i had a road trip to Jamestown from Rochester. I counted 7 dead deer total. If pre rut were in there would be a lot. I myself thought this was the week. We have 1 less shooter buck in Kendal. Neighbor got it 140ish. As far asGreece and hilton two nice deer wete hit by cars. One on the parkway last night. Same here in Kendal. I've hunted 5x seen deer once. Usually i see deer all the time. Just a different yr. My neighbor shot a 150" Saturday night. Only buck he saw. The guys who are seeing them are the hot areas. I know it is to be warm but they should be moving thos week with the rut.

Keep the pick c omming. You guys are shooting some nice deer. A 174" is a tough deer to match. Most people have never even seen a deer of that caliber. Back at it in the morning.

Its the.hot does in the area .to make thing worse im fighting kidney stones. But had to get out.

Another fine buck congratulations guys. Seen couple does and had small button hang out for 30 minutes thos morning. Any you guys hunting kendal area. It seems unusual slow this year. Next week is usually the hot week but not seeing many deer.

Dead this morning in Kendal. Squirrels and had fox run by.

So these were used on a crossbow. I was told the dark color were for compounds. Never had problem.

Well guys i know a lot of you are putting in some time. With time comes scent. We are at 3 weeks of hunting who knows if anybody else is hunting those areas. Deer can smell you.I'm Sure you might see a nice buck once in awhile right now. I like to wait. I hunt kendal small area. Next weekend will be the time to sit your ass all day and wait. Be patient good thing happen at the right time.

1st time out. No deer just squirrels and windy. Its been nice following the post keep it up.

That is wrong. The DEC should have keep deer and fined more. About 5yrs ago a caught a couple of guys who shot a trophy on my property. DEC was called showed up. If I keep the deer no charges could be filed. If he keep it they could file charges. Which is what happened. Guess what he got a warning. I was pissed. Rob the area you hunt is just east of where I hunt. We try and do QDM. Some neighbors shoot what ever. There are some real giants out there. 160-170 is not out of the question.

Too early for rhe woods. I wont be there for 2-3o week's. That's when the 150 + show up. I dont want scent at all in woods. Nice pic you guys are posting and keep up the good work
