What exactly happened? I am running the probe on 2116's with the new cable and seem to have good readings down to 130 feet so far Mike

Tim, Do you really need the coated cable? I have the cannon speed/temp...says its good on regular DR cable to 100 feet. Its rigged on Scotty 2116 I was hoping to not have to put the coated cable on the rigger.... You think it makes a worthwhile difference above 100 feet depth? Thanks for your advice.. Mike

I have been researching web for some time trying to find decent economical solutions to fit my 31 Tiara flybridge. I need spreader lights to mount on flybridge for lighting cockpit/transom. Want to also replace the 12v under gunwhale with LED's. Also need to light up the underside of the flybridge/helm. I see lots of guys using the blue for all but spreader...are these good? Any feedback on what you have used and good sources of supply is much appreciated Mike

Well, been doing lots of reading here...lots of great advice. Never been on Lake O before, I have a 21 foot Princecraft rigged with 2 downriggers, (fish mainly inland lakes for trout). Not sure which Port to fish from, have a choice of Port Hope, Darlington or Whitby. Wondering which is best and which has the best fishing at this time of year? Looking for the fastest/safest travel time from the launch to fishing grounds? How will I know where to fish on such big water? I am planning on using spindoctors with flies? Would there be a better choice of lure? Thanks for any and all advice.
