  3. I would ditch her...
  4. Dang, this is a steal.. If this was Craigslist. I would think a hoax. Some lucky man is going to get a whale of a deal.
  5. Heck I smelled it all the way down on the south end of Lake Michigan... Bad weekend.. 2 days out.. One dinker coho boated....
  6. One thing I would do the next time is to mount my GPS/Fishfinder to the left of the drivers area. That way I can have access to it if someone else is driving the boat.. Because when I drive I tend to play with it , and that causes me to venture crooked off course.LOL Plus if someone else wants to play with the graph they won't be reaching across you.
  7. I spend a lot of time on my boats.. But I still get queasy. I always have ginger cookies, and ginger ale.. I eat Dramamine before we head out. I have the wrist bands too. But they leave funky tan lines that are hard to explain. My wife says it is all in my head. The last trip out two weeks ago,. I did not take anything and the sea was only 3 footers.. I was ok all day.. I might have drank a couple of ginger ales as opposed to mountain dews though. I used the stuff that you dab a dime sized spot behind your ears down in Florida in April.. I blew chow big time.. first time I ever fished 8-10 footers. It was the first time I actually ever chummed..
  8. I am interested in the bottom J plugs.. Do you have any hooks/harnesses? Is that price shipped?
  9. This story woke my newbie butt up too.. Now I will always make sure my PFDs are on the deck. not down in the cuddy. I ordered a new water proof handheld VHF. And I also ordered a waterproof floating PLB.. I prefer not to be in the water any longer than needed.I plan on picking up waterproof whistles and attach one to each PFD. Floating ditch bag will be located always on the topside of the boat.
  10. Maybe it was a mistake?
  11. Something just ain't right about Ray..
  12. some will use a few feet of Fluorocarbon for their Leaders behind a ball bearing swivel.
  13. Great hook resistance. But heavy.
  14. After reading Dave Mulls boat sinking story.. I would spend my money on proper safety gear first..
  15. Changing bellows is not for the faint of heart.. I just did mine.. I related it to be a lot like putting socks on a fighting rooster.
