  6. Spanked the fish today.... Had a great crew of guys, who all in all landed a mix bag of 14 kings, steel, and coho. Biggest hook tipped scale at 27#. Lots of slippery fish today too, nearly 10 more that were on and lost. All bites came early and fast, including a triple wire hookup. 380' seemed key with best temps 115' down. They hit everything from ff combos and a variety of spoons. Sent from my MB855 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  9. I owned the pd 70 on my last boat and loved it... If your making the investment, I would offer two suggestions IMHO; 1- go I-pilot! GPS control is priceless.2-make sure that it is big enough (power and shaft length) to handle choppy/windy conditions. Lastly, check out moodeals.com- I saved like $150 over Cabelas. Just my $.02
  10. Thanks lakebound. Checked on the fingerlakes one and it is about twice the amount I wish to spend for my two trips a year back and forth to my slip... Ive found brand new aluminum ones for 3200, just hate to spend that much for what will mostly be for winter storage and a lawn ornament rest of summer. 13. Slow morning was par for the course today... Headed north out of Olcott marking very little. First steelie hooked was in 220 fow, on a 150 dipsey. Several hours fishless out as deep as 355, we headed back in on a SE bearing. Picked up 2more 5 lb steelies in 170 fow down 35 on riggers... All spoon bite today and all green... Tough conditions, but thats why its called fishing, not catching! Sent from my MB855 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  16. Got out today for the am bite and went 2/6. One 6# coho and this nice 26# king. Almost everything today was pounding green s/d fly 75ft down. Rainy, but fortunately no lightning. Happy fathers day to all the other dads out there... Sent from my MB855 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  21. I am hooking up the coated cable to my rigger spool and need advice as I don't have instructions. How do I terminate the wire to the spool of the rigger itself?
  22. Got out with a crew of family and friends and made out alright... Went 3 for six, two nice kings and a small coho. Also lost a nice laker at the back of the boat. Uv green mag spoons took the most hits, but green dot spinnie and fly did take our biggest 21# shark. I used to hate fishing with my sis, cause she always caught the biggest fish... Oh wait; she still does:huh: Sent from my MB855 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
