  1. Yes, the four stroke alerts for low oil pressure and high temp. It also kills spark to 2 cylinders and reduces Rpms to 2000. If there's a beeper on the boat I can't find it and I have never heard a beep in the ten years I've had it. I haven't checked in the control Assy. I will check. Thanks a million, I used the same controls for the new motor.
  2. I recently replaced my 2003 90hp carbureted 2stroke with a rebuilt 2003 115hp 4stroke. Both are Mercury. The boat has never had a beeper( this is why I needed a new motor) I purchased a two wire beeper, anyone know which two wires from the motor to hook up? Can't find it in my service book or online. Thanks in advance.
  3. If you can ship them to me at my expense I will take them.

  9. i do believe you're correct! thank you. i never would have guessed jigging spoon, they are as thinner than most jigging spoons.
  10. yeah, i really have no idea either. i got about 30 of them in an estate auction last weekend. they have no marks at all, if they are homemade they are done very well.
  11. anyone know what these are?
  12. they look like pups, young, dumb, and full of... well you know.
  13. you will never reach 240' down with any dipsy diver unless you stop the boat and let out 240' of line.
  14. all dive weights will plane out eventually. the mags with a monster ring and wire line will only go about 120' deep. i use 20lb wire line and 30lb braid. 50lb is pretty heavy for the fingers. there is no king salmon to deal with  i have lost a couple dipsy's as all who fish with them enough. there is several different dive charts to use, i have had good luck with the precision trolling charts but everyone has there own opinions. good luck. p.s. i would never intentionally run a dipsy out until it hits bottom.LOL
  15. a size 1 dipsy out 150' with 30lb braid runs about 55' deep. that's without a ring. you are running 50lb so it wont be as deep, maybe 45'. with a ring it runs about 72' deep with the 30lb braid. the front of the boards is usually higher than the back, as long as the planer boards are pulling than they are working. like i said, i pull 5 color with the same boards and have no issues. a size 0 dipsy planes out at around 35' on a #3 setting. hope it helps you out. try the mag dipsy with monster rings. they work well for me on seneca
  16. what setting are the dipsy's on? what size dipsy how many feet of line out? i pull 5 color leadcore with my church walleye boards with no issues.
