Ended up 6 for 8 but nothing big. Temps pretty much the same top to bottom. Will only get better. Nice morning, boat and equipment all worked well. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United -

Guessing 30 to 40 feet. High 50’s low 60’s bottom temp. No gin clear water, looking for some pearl essent green. Hopefully some bait. Longer leads, slow, 2.5 tops. Evil Eyes or NK or Pirate mags. Two down, one sliding dipsy, one body bait off the board. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United -
Heading out for Browns in the AM. Haven’t spent much time doing that so far this year. Short crew, four rod spread. Should be a nice morning. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

I understand they have no obligation. But a little goodwill would go a long way. I would contact them, reiterate that they have no obligation, but allow them the opportunity to participate. Could be a great opportunity to get some great social media word of mouth. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

Ring was even unlucky for the fish. Must have sucked swimming around with a ring piercing zip tied to his tail. Like a prop with a bent blade. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

Down riggers and summer steelhead

Better hooking ratio for sure but nothing beats a slob bow rocketing out of the water before you even know you have a hit. Once hooked catch ratios are even. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United -

Vending machine. You put cash in, push the listed buttons, gate opens. Pretty cool. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United -
Met Patsy Distaffen in 2001 when Billy won a youth division on an NK. He provided me with prototypes of new stuff till he died. Mike Ayotte at Captains Cove gave me stuff he painted or striped, new stuff to his store that he wanted field tested. People will help you a lot. Key is to be nice, helpful and show respect and appreciation. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

I started in my 20’s too. In the mid 80’s. I was a good listener and loved learning from Don Whitenight (Microwave) Mario Barbera(Evil Eye) Chic Strebb (Pool Shark) Carlie Chick (King Salmon)and Bucky Phillips. If you’re nice and respectful great things happen. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
