Can't get the Walkers to wear Real Tree. Guess the guy won't wear it either lol. I will say that yotes see movement more so than cammo pattern. Fair point though, it wouldn't have been my first choice.

No, I was invited to go one time and it didn't work out. Heard you don't go for the kill though, you go for the exercise! Not as easy as tv will make it look like everything else
True but most days you will at least get a good taste as to what it's all about. The radio traffic combined with the howl of the dogs is pretty awesome. My job change this year is going to cut my available days by 50% but I will try to get you out if you want to try it.

A season ends and a season begins. Will be running hounds for coyotes and foxes this weekend. Will drift fish the Niagara within two weeks. Best time of year as far as I'm concerned. The fat lady has sung.

Very sorry for your loss but comforted knowing you have the memories. I'm sure he doesn't want you to suffer, and I'm sure when your afield you will continue to enjoy his presence.

The more Monday's you endure the more Friday's you enjoy. Results are great but effort still counts too. Put your time in dude the next few days if you can, you just never know.

Doing our annual drives at the lease properties in the morning. Always a lot of fun. Looking forward to it for a while now. Always some good laughs.

Drop them off at one of the many local processors (I like Steeles in Avon) and turn them into Canadian Bacon. Sliced and fried in butter with eggs and toast is about as good as it gets for me.If anyone has any good ways to cook back straps can you PM them to me... I've heard a bunch of different ways and I'm just wondering what some of you guys do

Can one assume at all the places mentioned in this thread that the deer you pick up is the deer you dropped off? It hasn't always been the case. I know for me, that knowing I'm eating the deer I dropped off takes precedence over many other criteria.

Anyone shot any? Passed on any? With the bear numbers at a long time high and restrictions at an all time low I'm surprised nobody has posted pics and stories yet.

Haha your right! I was on the couch watching football while the boys went hunting. Young one with his bow behind the house, and the older one went to Hamlin with the muzzleloader. Got the call and drove out to help him get it out. Wouldn't fit in a Chevy Cruze.
