Awesome fish!
When did you catch him that water color certainly wasn't that clear this past weekend or it wasn't where we were, lol.

Agreed with the tough conditions for catching the silvers. Or BT spot was loaded with surfacing and jumping browns in the early am. Even had a couple in our spread jump. Didn't budge a rod though. Managed to land three nice Lakers for our FLTA event and had a great day with my wife n sister on board.. looking forward to the Margeit on the tenth!

Just put on for the day off will let you know!

We fished Keuka this year for our FLTA and caught over 50 Lakers before 11am. Each Laker was thin and starving. The carrying capacity of the lake is off kilter. The ones we kept were full of insects and very small tadpoles. The fish were generally shallow 40-50' and feeding on perch fry imitations. Keep as many as you legally can. The lake needs to have less predators and more bait. There is also a large supply of huge pickerel in the lake and I believe the next state record could come from there especially when they find the Cisco!

Sold thanks!

Yes religiously changed the oil with Mercury brand yearly. Just changed the lower unit gear oil also. Always have run non-ethanol gas. The previous guy must have put the sticker on but not sure why.. Sure looks factory applied though.
Reasonable offers considered. The new boat is here!!

MikeyP. No it's more like the big foot four stroke. Definitely a four banger, no two stroke oil used in it for the six years I've owned it! Lol!

Cayuga, Owasco, Canandaigua in that order.

That big bow hit and ran right at the board and jumped ( not showing up on my rod or board) he was definitely on the first jump.
Then he dove down and pulled the board under, it was a show, he jumped three times and ran at us so fast it was tough to keep tension on him, I love Owasco!!

Thanks Les, the whole story was we were fighting this pig and I see a huge bow jump behind the boat, I said to Sher, did you see that? Nope, what? I just saw an 8 lb bow jump behind the board, sure enough give seconds later the board dives under and the drag rips! Double of our lives!! He weighed 7.8

Great catch Alex! Those are beautys! Cayuga is in the good old days of fishing right now! The big Lakers are getting ready to spawn soon, it'll get tougher to catch them next month or so. Way to dial in the silvers!

Wow! Epic box! Wish we could've been there..
