  1. Such an amazing tale. You deserve it. And she is still swimming had to be 25+ year old lady. Congrats it must have been nice to meet her. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  2. That screenshot i sent is standard 2d, on the bottom, and panoptix is on the top. So you are looking at two views. That was a big school, with some 30ft down to the bottom. You can see how traditional sonar which is on the bottom, shows it as a big mush. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  3. I used gold flat rap, heavy and fast down and moves a ton. After the school got used to what I was dropping they didn’t care what I dropped they were stingy. Wanted erratic action. I wasn’t on a numbers bite, being so deep, I wanted size if I was bringing them up that far. The view is from a lvs32 panoptix, with the black box. I have a lvs 12 I’m going to mount soon that I can remove for ice fishing, I am going to mount it to the jack plate, and attach it to the garmin on my rear deck. 4. Great to get the boat back on the water. Did some deep perch searching. 36 degree water mostly. Found a decent school, no bait just jigging raps, took half dozen home. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  5. Anyone know of a deep launch in Oneida lake? Water is soooo low right now, just wondering if any launch is good year round? Godfrey? Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United

  18. Tried dragging for walleye tonite 5-8pm. Only a large bull bluegill. Found fish deep, some streaks off the bottom, mostly marking fish in the 10-15ft deep range over 24-26ft. Frustrating, had nice chop at times, drifted and slow trolled between .5 and 1.5mph. Stayed in contact with the bottom with 1/2oz barrel sinkers. Had leaders 3ft max. Water was pea soup. Had clouds and barometer dropped all afternoon. Ugh:( Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. Thank you for the update. Are you jigging in 250ft, just the top part of the water column where you mark fish? I have not had the confidence to put time in that, it would be great to know if this is a standard jigging area that produces, I always target bottom oriented Lakers.
