  1. Nice job Mike. The brown and bow put you over the top. Knowing how to catch all species. Seems to be your specialty. I had a blast yesterday and everyone was very nice. I had sum hilarious bloopers that I'll have to tell you about. Thanks for talking to me about FLTA. Glad I joined. Brent Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. Why is Scotty riggers not an option. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Good job Mike. Can't always get the big one. At least you got to catch some fish. I sat at home with nothing to do. Boat problems always appear at the worst times. Trying to get it fixed for my first FLTA tourney in a couple weeks. I'm glad everyone had good time on the lake this weekend. Brent Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. Nice job Nick. Looked beautiful out there. Love the room in your boat. Makes it comfortable for lots of people. I never made it out. Had problems with linkage. Impossible to find someone to work on it. The Holiday and most marinas are very busy now. Hopefully I can get it fixed in a couple days. 5. I was on the south end and believe me. It wasn't anything like that. I wish it was. Lol Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Thank you for all the great comment's. It's always nice to get a quality fish. But 2 nice fish in one morning, Priceless........ Brent Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Mostly a slow morning. An early Northern was a nice surprise. Went through many lures in search of something that would work. Also kept moving riggers, up down up down. Finally rigger releases and its on. Glad I had the drag set to give a little. Line stared pulling out and became a gain some lose some fight. With the line going straight down about 5ft off the back of boat. The leader knot was just out of water. So the fish was 30ft down. I slowly work it up. Just as it gets in site. All hell breaks loose. It screams out more line and disappeared down. Get it back up. We try to net it and it danced right out and took line again. This time it goes for rigger lines. I believe it was between the cable and rods line. Some how got it back out. Had another missed netting. Takes line again. After getting it back again. It took a deep net dive to finally get this beast. All of this was on a 7' light Ugly Stick. Needless to say. The fish had its way with me. But we got it. A beast of a Landlock. 10lbs. 2oz. 8. Set your drags just tight enough to stop inline board from pulling out line. Right on the edge of letting line out. Make sure your clicker is on and set back. Just about anything that touches board or hits lure. Will make the reel start clicking. If it's a good fish, that reel will scream. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. I believe your using the walleye boards. They do seem jerky in the water and go almost sideways. Trolled by someone using those just the other day. Try the TX-22's. Not much bigger than walleyes, but do seem to cut through the water better. I run my weights all back. Even for leadcore and copper. TX-22 will pull up to 200' of copper. 10. Once again, thank you Nick. We had a fun morning. Never expected such a nice fish. Your new boat is amazing. There is so much room. Eric said the back of your boat is bigger than my entire boat. It's close. Lol. Brent Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. What make and size is the rubber net you where using. Looks like what I'm looking for. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  13. Met up with Jason today and got some great lures. It was nice talking to you about Great Lakes lures. I'll let you know how they do. Thank You Brent Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  15. These pics are from this morning. First is north end of Cayuga. Second is Cayuga with Seneca in background. Third is Seneca. Last but not least keuka. Enjoy. We'll be out there in no time. Brent Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. Patriot has good spool tension. I also like J.D.'s rod holder. Most of us have broken rods that would work perfect. Combined the two designs and get spooling. Lol Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. I believe we all have that itch Mike. I'm ready to go. Hope to get an opportunity to do some fishing with you again. Maybe earlier in the year when the fishing is a little better. Congrats to the Iron Duke team. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. Any more pics? Closer and inside. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. 2x on what Baitrigger said. All I have to say is Dolphins, Jets, Bills. What a division. 6 easy wins ever year and they still have to cheat. In that division Brady should be great. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. Levi is one of the best in the world. Pros are pros for a reason. They may be one half a percent, of the total hunting population that can make thoughs shots like that. What do you think? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. You brought up the gun comparison. You did say it was more accurate at 100yds than a shot gun. Archer and guns are defenetly two different beasts. Yes, I don't know you and same goes other way. But I do know bows, crossbows, long range archery and hunting. Just don't want people launching bolts like rainbows. Lol. I'm not mad at ya. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. Do you know that the 400fps is at launch. 100 yds out its most likely less than half of that. Easier speed for wind to push. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. My bad. I forgot you are the expert. 3000fps and 400fps are two different worlds. 10mph cross wind may push a bullet a little bit at 100yds. But a 500 gr bolt will push alot more. Let's be realistic. A 100yds crossbow shot is not ethical hunting. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  24. I have shot the pse. It is extremely heavy. Comes with a bi pod because of the weight. Most of the weight is out front. If your not benching this, good luck with that. 100yds sounds good. But hunt a field with a cross wind and try to hit something. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  25. I just got two saltist reels. Very nice and agree with everything written above. But they are a little pricey compared to Okuma. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
