Who ever planted the sugar beets are they the kind we eat?? I love to can beets in a pickle brine. They are delicious with a back strap and fried potatoes!! I have to run down to Amish country cause nobody around here grows red beets. I pay $18.00 a basket not the big peach baskets like the size basket you buy apples in. My daughters love that meal!!
yeah these are a white beet. And I have seen them for sale at the public market and at Wegmans.

Another 20+ Fish Day. Lots of big Kings between 120 + 140fow. 400 copper with UV green jeans paddle took 5 fish in first 90 mins. Divers set between 200 and 240 got plenty of action and Riggers parked 80-110 with spoons took some big fish also. Been a great year fishing Kings.

put in over an acre of pioneer field corn tight to one side of power lines and another narrow acre of soy beans on other side to funnel the deer. Corns over 9ft tall as of today and has 2 ears on Almost every stalk. We Poured the nitrogen to it. also planted a sugar beet and pumpkin plot 30 days ago. Poured the Urea to it last week before the rain and it exploded. 60 more days or so to maturity on this plot.

Ummmm I never take my trolling motor off my Lund...Luckily the travel cover fits over most of it, then I just bungee it down good.
I use a travel cover as a mooring cover because I keep the boat on a hoist at our cottage. I bungee it down by the loops. What's not to understand about why someone would need a travel cover?
Yeah For storage. Not for driving down the road.

We run MC Rockets on our meat heads. Way easier and cleaner than regular meat. And catch plenty of fish on them

I would steer away from Trackers. They are notorious for having hull issues.
X2. Tracker Hulls are Not built for long term big water use. They just don’t hold up

i bay launch is a headache when the weather is nice (googans) i would avoid it. in between those two places you can also launch from sodus or fairhaven or hughes. personally hughes is one of my favorites nice place to launch for fisherman. you can also get a pass for bear creek but you either have to go later or get it the day before plus if there is any wave action coming in from the north there is no protection there. if you want to stay west the genny is a decent launch but you get some pleasure boaters there as well
X2. Ibay Launch is a total S#%* Show on the weekends

1000ft Of 30lb Wire on each reel is what you need and ya won’t need any backing. The Copper you have is meant for long lining off Boards or down the chute.

I use 1/2 to 1 1/4 oz jig heads depending on how deep the fish are. Same on Lake O. 20 to 30lb braided line is a must also for better hook sets in deeper water. Also use trolling motor to stay on top of schools of fish when ya find them.
