  1. Anyone got a solution? Always get one unless no heat... Windows are open and door half open... Plenty of o2 and water.... Makes the ride home horrible Sent from my Moto E (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. 10% know how to fish... Most grow roots on the ice and the big ones don't just sit still. Sent from my Moto E (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. I go because of the mix bag I got the 2nd time up. Caught the pike then the rainbow while unhooking the pike. Was very exciting. Sent from my Moto E (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. Guess I am glad I stayed home... Sent from my Moto E (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  6. 1.3 miles... Not a walk I wanna do... That's a 2.6 mile walk... Better off sitting at Sampson catching nothing... Tired of driving to Sodus... It's good fishing but just tired of the drive... Sent from my Moto E (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Go to Sodus. Out of loop or Sodus Marina. Save money... Catch fish Sent from my Moto E (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Any where on the west side worth parking to get to deep water or is it all 4.5 till you get the channel? Is mud locks worth walking out of? Sent from my Moto E (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. Yes, no truck into boat... Boat into truck. I need to take the heads off anyway of passenger side... Guy never changed the plugs and threads came off.. sweet thanks for the info. I'll probably have them shaved down too while they're off. Thanks for the info. Sent from my Moto E (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. I don't actually have a boat motor yet. Figure might be able to find a boat with fiber glass issues if it would change over. I haven't been able to come up with another used motor or I wouldn't explore this option. Looking for used while I rebuild the block that's in it now. I don't know what the old owner did... Had new pan on the bottom so obviously some lower end work that didn't last... Idk gotta tear it out either way. Just exploring my options. 11. Yeah but I plan I buying new manifolds. The ones on the truck are shot. Will they still match up? Or is because of the water jacket in the boat manifolds? Sent from my Moto E (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. My understanding is spark arrestors are the differences and CAM is higher torque so from boat to truck will work? Motor in my dump truck went and options have been thin... Sent from my Moto E (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Anyone know where I can get a set for strikemaster hand auger? Runnings and Bass Pro were out when I called... Sent from my Moto E (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. Vampires... Sent from my Moto E (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. Grab it up. Pretty sure in a earlier post this is what the DEC needed. Almost dead fish. Sent from my Moto E (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. Go with Garmin striker 4. $200. Put A-scope on. Watch the fish rocket up to your bait. Also has flasher mode and if you got a canoe you can use it in the summer. Caught over 70 fish in 3 days with it. Figured cheap would be crap... I was impressed Sent from my Moto E (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. No one comment so I'll leave a review. If your just starting out, this is a great unit. Traditional mode with scope on is fantastic. Needs an ice ducer so you don't have to mess with it hanging flat. Or bring a stick to wrap the cord so it hangs flat. Not bad unit for $200 and has a flasher mode. After using traditional mode with A-scope on, I wouldn't switch back. Sent from my Moto E (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. Storing the trash to burn will still put the stink in the air... If you ever been to Waterloo when the wind is blowing out the North... you will know the stink I am talking about. It's hard to want to even shop there knowing that the smell is sneaking in the store every time someone walks in then the particulates are landing on the food that we then consume... 🤔[emoji90] Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. Would you meet me in Ithaca for shanty? Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  21. Just bought a cheap one to get threw my first year. A buddy turned me on to it. When in traditional mode his has a bar on the right that shows like a flasher. How do I get mine to do that in traditional mode. Mine has a flasher mode but it would be able to see flasher and graph chart at the same time. Maybe because mine is a year newer? 22. That's what some say. Some say October, some say November, some say March. I got a pretty good idea how they move around in the winter months now. Also the dead ones I saw could been from Pike with eyes bigger then their guts. The perch have a lot of marks from Pike strikes.( Dec told me last year that's what it was anyway) Nick, didn't you just release a bunch Lakers a few years ago? About 3 years ago? We should be seeing those fish being caught soon if they made it? Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. Last night I checked Sampson out. Water super clear so I stood on the wall looked out as far as I could see.. large dead perch out 20 ft off the wall, two large dead Pike in the marina, dead bull head floating, no bait around, couple dead gills, dead large mouth... What I did see alive... about 1000 rud... 4 cigar sized perch one 20" Pike... So much for the legendary perch fishing at Sampson [emoji31][emoji379] Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  24. Was it a gobie or a sculpin? I don't get gobies perch fishing Seneca. Cayuga you can't fish the bottom without catching 50 gobies. I wouldn't say gobies are an issue anyway. Almost everything eats them. I heard someone saying there was a lack of sawbellies.... That gave me a good laugh... Even with last year's die off there are tons and tons of them. You can see the entire shore line come to life around dark when they come in close to shore. I been spending a lot of time there the last 3 winter's after hearing about the perch legend... That's what it seems like... A legend.[emoji23] Like I said before... The Pike are doing well... Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  25. Most of the water that flows from Seneca probably goes right over the mud locks. I would imagine the gobies would of made it to Seneca if the water really mixed that much. Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
