Will this be Brady's last game ?
Good match up for Bills .

A guy drowned ?

If it were not for Jack , how bad would they be .
A few more trades and an attitude adjustment .
This team is not tough enough .
-
I really think you are missing the point of our concerns .

It's high on the South shore . I was noticing it at my cottage Sun .
It's going to be as bad or the worst yet this spring if it rains a lot .

When I add a dipsey , it's braid slide diver .

I have 2 boats
16 ft side console , 2 riggers,
21 ft hardtop . 2 riggers
I fish each different.
I love my 16 ft . 95 % of the time I use 1 line on each rigger and do well . If on occasion I put out a,dipsey , it changes the whole dynamic of my presentation . I loose my ability to turn on a dime and my ability to be nimble, if that makes sense. 2 rods with a slider each ( which I never use) should be enough .
With small boat tactics , we have a huge advantage over bigger boats to be able to stay on fish when we Mark them or hook up .
Bigger boats with boards and junk lines take forever to turn and get back over pods of fish . There advantage , among others , is ability to cover a lot of water .
You aren't a big boat so don't try to be one .
I fish LO . I target kings mostly in the fall but this spring early summer I hammered them by running 2 flasher setups . The flashers call the fish to me .
If fishing shallow , less than 50 ft maybe an in line planer with a stickbaits or deep diver or short core to get away from boat .
But less is more IMO . Run what you have out correctly.
I fish alone mostly

Now we know the truth .
Any admission of responsibility will open them up for legal liability.
The simple question has been answered .

Junk lines suck .
Sure they catch fish , but day in or day out , riggers rule for small boat tactics .
-
What you are saying is that 2014 and the IJC has no responsibility in all this whatsoever .
I feel that they are at least partially responsible for this mess .
It was under control for many years .
And the last 2 out of 3 were the worst ever .
-
Get the riggers
You won't be sorry .
It simplifies everything and you will catch more fish .
Money well spent .

So the simple question now has been answered .
We are not at max outflow now , 8600 from 10,400.
Now, " WE" would like to know why that is .
Especially since "WE" all know the amount of water coming at us from upstream . I

With home field on the line playing at home how the Pats, could loose to Fitz and the Dolphins ?

Went up to see the hatchery during the run this year . I could not believe the amount of people I saw in the area .
A lot of money changing hands .
They ain't ever going to close the Salmon river during the run . It's the crown jewel of the fishery .
And it remains to be seen if there will be a noticeable drop in kings the next few years . And if there is, can't be great every year .
We had stellar lake fishing this year . And a poor return on the Salmon .
Maybe that's because Nat reproduction is more widespread that popular belief .
I'll take a wait and see approach .

Nope , it bickering , and being vindictive from some as I see it .
From some of the stuff I've read on here , there is no other conclusion .
-
I don't care what fish is managed for where .
We all get a shot at everything but the Lakers at some time during the year , lake or trib .
And all everyones licence and tax dollars pay for it .
Which make them everyone's .
Getting a little tired of this bickering .
I would expect better .
-
And it all goes back to one simple question .
When they safely could , was the maximum amount of water being released at all times ?
If not , WHY NOT ?

-
Maybe the reason they did not increase flows in previous years is because they did not have to .

Wrong, Salmon are managed for the Lake. Not the tribs. You guys made that perfectly clear when you started regulating us on the lake. It needs to be our turn to protect OUR fish.
Sorry , but all these fish are everyone's fish .

Unless waterfront tax rates are higher than the rest of the municipality , the reason waterfront owners pay more taxes is because the property is worth more . Which is a,good thing . And the property owners decision to purchase or to hold on to it .
And assessment is what fair market value is,. I worked on a few houses on Old Edgemere drive , which I have seen on the news that since the law passed , anyone would be crazy to buy IMO.
So the market value , as a lot of other property , has dropped . So the assessment should drop .
But better watch out . When this situation becomes the new norm or gets worse and they condemn your property as uninhabitable or insurance will not insure it , they will give you the lower value to buy you out .

4 rods per person ?
Please Tell me this is a joke .

Seems like any excuse to keep the water high .
Excuse me for being a cynical. But with the history ......
Is there hope ?

I originally posted this thread to explore if all the water made for more nutrients in the water as I saw more green water this year since the mid 80s.
I'm not a hydrologist, and everyone's data may or may not be true .
I just want to know if everything that can be done is being done to lower the lake level .
And my gut tells me it's not .
