  1. What's everyone's opinion on the late 80s pro hunter? How do they ride? Thanks Sent from my moto e5 play using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. What's the cockpit layout like with seating? Sent from my moto e5 play using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Sonny's had a pair in pulaski Sent from my moto e5 play using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. There is some silver swimming around the east end, saw a couple skippers get picked up over the past week. Sent from my moto e5 play using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. The trawling boat was out in oswego area Monday afternoon, could be some of the bait you saw floating. As for juvenile browns I did get 20-30 of them before the east blow, all under 3-4lbs. Only hit two browns over 5lbs so far but I haven't put alot of time in on them so far. Sent from my moto e5 play using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Looking for some jitterfly's. Let me know what you have thanks!
  7. I thought you said it was 5 years old in your original post. Even though you may have only used it a few times, the pump on that is super sensitive and delicate to fluid levels. if you replaced pump assembly since purchase then maybe the lines did not get bled properly. Has a procedure to make sure it is bled properly. If still original pump and has happened since install then maybe was never properly bled initially. The unit does not need a calibration to north unless your using a gps to set course, otherwise just manual set it and go in a straight line. Only calibration needed is the original circles so the gyro gets calibrated. Youll find that with what your describing is your problem, you have a pump or fluid problem, not a calibration issue. Spent weeks last summer working the bugs out of mine. Also common is the screws holding the reservoir to pump to come loose and lose fluid that way, so i always check and tighten those three phillips screws almost every trip just to prevent the headaches of pump failure. 8. sounds like the pump is going bad. Had the same problem with mine last year and ended up having to replace pump. Works for a little while then can't produce enough pressure to turn the motor again and goes hard over and end up going in circles. I recalibrated multiple times and went through the troubleshooting procedures before they determined it was a bad pump. Sent from my Acer Chromebook 15 (CB3-532) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. Very few charter for them and very difficult to directly target in numbers. Sent from my moto e5 play using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. You'll have more luck getting the winning lottery numbers then prying walleye Intel from the men of the Eastern basin. Sent from my moto e5 play using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. Very slow last two weeks, might be a bit better but lake is setting up and transitioning Sent from my moto e5 play using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. identical in mexico bay as well for me. Transition time Sent from my Acer Chromebook 15 (CB3-532) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Braved it out this afternoon managed 10/13 with a small king. Still right where I left them from sat where we did 13/16 or so. Biggest brown around 8lbs. All spoons leadcores slides and riggers all taking equal shots and equal shots stingers vs stingrays. My rec boats a 22 tinny and Sportcraft 270 my charter boat.... convenience of the trailer of the 22 is great but the room and stability of the Sportcraft is missed Sent from my moto e5 play using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. Tighter water was slower. Almost made the run to the plant from the big but decided to play my numbers a bit more and finally got them activated in the afternoon. Spoons off riggers best today. Ended 12/14. Good amount of bait holding around the 30 foot range. One brown Coughed up a smelt, a goby, and an alewive in the boat. Sent from my moto e5 play using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. I tried to bump speeds a few times and nothing made it any better. short strikes was the name of the day, couldnt believe how many times rods would go off and no one home. planer rods, downriggers, leadcores everything it happened too. very odd, and very interesting to hear that you experienced the same today. I was out from big salmon today. Sent from my Acer Chromebook 15 (CB3-532) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. Launched around 1030 am about 4-5 other boats out and about. Headed towards catfish, gin clear water got colder to 40-41 degrees went around plant all the way to Oswego harbor, gin clear from catfish to almost to the harbor. Picked 3/5 spoons and a stick bite around break walls. 1 color cores, smithwick back 80, small slide diver 25 back 12 out 2.5 setting...9-15fow...warmest 44.5 by harbor in the chocolately plume...picked up around 230 due to increasing waves and wind headed back past little salmon and found another pocket out 44.5 degree greener water and picked up one on a slide diver and that was it.....fairly slow all smaller fish biggest 3.5lbs. 17. Pm sent Sent from my moto e5 play using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. Yes but beam as in fighting fish with outboard and kicker on 8 ft beam. Widen where wires are behind boat a tad and the fish fighting room will widen Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. I hear you man, I had a triple going on last week that turn an absolute chaos running a 9 rod spread lol Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. Get yourself highly proficient at running that spread and then you can look to add more down the road but put a few 15 + fish days under your belt before you try to get to crazy Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. Less is more man. When the bite is good all you need is two dipsy's two riggers and a chute line. running more than that you're just asking for a lot of trouble and a lot of lost gear. I have a 10 1/2 foot beam and that's my normal spread when fish are active and biting Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. Catch ratio probably won't change much but with a 2.5 setting you open your spread a bit and less chances of tangles directly behind the boat especially with a narrow beam. Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. I heard you yelling and watched you drop that one at the boat I believe...if you were on "my way" vessel. Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  24. 2 /3 both were steelhead, pretty dead all morning, lots of debris in the bay. Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  25. Heard it's a launch at your own risk at Wright's...unsure if true but was told they are still allowing launching but liability risks falls upon the boater.. Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
