  1. Tighter water was slower. Almost made the run to the plant from the big but decided to play my numbers a bit more and finally got them activated in the afternoon. Spoons off riggers best today. Ended 12/14. Good amount of bait holding around the 30 foot range. One brown Coughed up a smelt, a goby, and an alewive in the boat. Sent from my moto e5 play using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. I tried to bump speeds a few times and nothing made it any better. short strikes was the name of the day, couldnt believe how many times rods would go off and no one home. planer rods, downriggers, leadcores everything it happened too. very odd, and very interesting to hear that you experienced the same today. I was out from big salmon today. Sent from my Acer Chromebook 15 (CB3-532) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Launched around 1030 am about 4-5 other boats out and about. Headed towards catfish, gin clear water got colder to 40-41 degrees went around plant all the way to Oswego harbor, gin clear from catfish to almost to the harbor. Picked 3/5 spoons and a stick bite around break walls. 1 color cores, smithwick back 80, small slide diver 25 back 12 out 2.5 setting...9-15fow...warmest 44.5 by harbor in the chocolately plume...picked up around 230 due to increasing waves and wind headed back past little salmon and found another pocket out 44.5 degree greener water and picked up one on a slide diver and that was it.....fairly slow all smaller fish biggest 3.5lbs. 5. Yes but beam as in fighting fish with outboard and kicker on 8 ft beam. Widen where wires are behind boat a tad and the fish fighting room will widen Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. I hear you man, I had a triple going on last week that turn an absolute chaos running a 9 rod spread lol Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Get yourself highly proficient at running that spread and then you can look to add more down the road but put a few 15 + fish days under your belt before you try to get to crazy Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Less is more man. When the bite is good all you need is two dipsy's two riggers and a chute line. running more than that you're just asking for a lot of trouble and a lot of lost gear. I have a 10 1/2 foot beam and that's my normal spread when fish are active and biting Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. Catch ratio probably won't change much but with a 2.5 setting you open your spread a bit and less chances of tangles directly behind the boat especially with a narrow beam. Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. I heard you yelling and watched you drop that one at the boat I believe...if you were on "my way" vessel. Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. 2 /3 both were steelhead, pretty dead all morning, lots of debris in the bay. Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. Heard it's a launch at your own risk at Wright's...unsure if true but was told they are still allowing launching but liability risks falls upon the boater.. Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Saw that they announced today a lake wide emergency order of no more than 5 mph within 1000ft of shore. Similar to 2017. Thank you IJC and plan 2014. Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. Digitroll 2s with extendable booms. Wire harness ends. Dual rod holders. No mounting blocks. Riggers only. $500 obo pickup in Pulaski, NY. Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. Can anyone tell me if they have seen this style boat windshield track anywhere? Branch came down and busted one panel and the top track. Not worried about glass but the track piece is ruined. Thanks Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. Still available? Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. What's your number? I sent a pm but unsure if it went through. Thanks! Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. I'll take the copper setup and the four dipsys rods. Please message me as your pms aren't going through thanks. Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. Did you get any of my pms? For some reason I have my own messages in my inbox. Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  21. Should note that 15lb is fine for multi purpose rods. Good for browns and fine for salmon this time of year...dipsys deff want heavier 20-30lb leaders because of the shock..I personally like mono leaders for my dipsys because they stretch and don't break from hard strikes. As the season progresses and I target only salmon. I use 20lb fluoro on my leadcores and 20-40lb mono on my dipsys. If you use snubbers I'd run the fluoro instead of mono on the dipsys Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. Can't get a bite today to save my life...a Laker and a small 8 inch king, and a steelies that through the hook. Worst day of the year for me...flat calm . Tried from 60-350 very few marks past 220...decent from 100-200 but no large bait schools just some sporadic bait Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. I would seriously consider changing the rigger cable to brand new 250ft wire because the ball, release, an your new x4d probe at 299.00 for a replacement probe is worth the 25$ in cable to ensure it's brand new...don't ask me how I know!!! 4 days before I lost my first probe!!! Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  24. Curious to see where you target browns during warmer temps. I'm seeing temps as high 64 degrees on the surface near shore. Do you move out to 30-50+ feet of water and troll near bottom during the summer or do you try to Target that 54degree water wherever in the column it may be? Don't really fish browns after mid May often so just trying to put the pieces together. Thanks!!! Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  25. Bad swivel, sand or debris in swivel. Terminations should be direct to swivel if using flashers, spoons and sticks use a snap. Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
