I put a lot of time into researching tracks systems and ratcheting adjustable rod holders and still can’t make a decision. So I want to ask the experts. I want to place a track system on my boat to hold adjustable rod holders for use on dipsy divers and a planer board tree. As far a track goes, to me, they all look the same. I do want to have an one handed adjustable rod holder that I can just pull up when hooked on a fish and sturdy enough for dipsy. I am not brand specific. I seen charter captains selling used cannon and Bert’s on this site. Are they selling them because they are junk or did something newer and better come out that I am not aware of? Any advice on the subject is great appreciated. Thank you in advance. All Day Long

I use boating USA on my cell phone and found it is more accurate than my chip in fish finder. My buddy has a iPad and it works great on there but they charge $50 or $100 for iPad app compared to $10 for phone app. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

The photo is deceiving. I think you would actually need a ladder to get from the dock down to your boat. As far as the channel out to the lake goes????? I think smaller boats wouldn’t have a problem.
