  1. Special thanks to Missdemeanor for some advice was my 1st time trolling Lake O. Solo trip for 2.5 hours. Went 7 for 9. All 3.75 Super Slims in Green Veggies, Watermelon, and green/chrome. 15 fow. 2X I set out lines and hooked up within 50' of the boat, well before I could get out 100' and get a planer on. They were very aggressive ! I actually trolled for 2 hrs, 9 hookups = every 13 minute. I would fight, land, reset lines and within 5 minutes hooked up again. Barely enough time to enjoy a cigarette and coffee 😂. Very hard to get out in a 14' aluminum unless the waves/wind are low. Was a great experience. Hardest part about solo is maintaining boat speed, fighting and netting by myself, watching boards & finder, keeping boat straight. After 2 hrs, the wet & cold, I was satisfied, tired and called it lol. YouCut_20240303_081414022.mp4
  2. With the winds today & Thursday, do you think water will still be stained Saturday with a Southern wind ? Are 8' by 10 lb fluorocarbon leaders long enough ? Maybe 10' ? Idk. Any thoughts on my spoons ? 3.75 Super slims. It's extremely rare I get out there with my small boat. Any help appreciated. Thanks
  3. Thanks guys ! I do have boards, 8'6 okuma planer rods, and plenty of sticks/spoons. I really appreciate it, just needed a sense of direction. Thank you very much, hopefully I'll be able to put up a report next week lol
  4. I have questions. What water temp should I be looking for ? Maybe out the Gennessee ? What direction ? Head out Gennessee or I Bay ? I understand stick baits and spoons. What about worm harnesses ? I have a 14' aluminum with 8hp motor. If waves are 1' or less next week im going to try. I really can't get on Lake O much because I have a small boat. But if the stars align, and I can get some help/info with direction, it'd be extremely appreciated for the almost never opportunity I might get. Thank you
