  1. Mine, and my buddies have never worked as advertised. Hit or miss at best and we have both gone through their tech dept. and sent videos of the screen. Follow the calibration process and it sometimes makes it more believable and sometimes not. Certainly haven’t gotten mine reliable yet unfortunately. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  2. I have the high speed Mag 10’s as well, wire is fine but on my third mount in two years. Snubber sounds like a good tip to dampen the shock load from a heavy ball. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  3. I use the exact ones and have been pretty happy but only running two. Sounds like good advice above. Tangles? I put the port dipsy rod in the starboard dipsy holder. Don’t do that. Lol. Mess Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  4. Send them down head first. Usually wakes them up enough to get them to recover the majority of the time. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  5. Went out for a couple hours tonight out of IBay North to 160’ and held North heading. Hit one nice king in 220’ on rigger down 35’ and lost a shaker king at 230’ on a 3 color down the shoot. Spoons. Went to 280’ and turned around and trolled back to 200’ and called it a night. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  6. Seems like that has been the norm this week, blank screen but catching fish. This was cool to see but were lakers. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  7. I’m on year three at this big lake fishing after fishing for small lake fish my whole life. I finally have a well outfitted 28’ boat now and can consistently avoid the skunking but by no means able to compete with that video. If I can find active fish I usually have a good day. I need some knowledge on how the winds blow the water around, where the “warm water” comes from, trolling direction/speed best practices in currents and such if anyone wants to share. I’m out of I Bay. Went 9/10 on Saturday, 1/1 on Sunday and 2/2 today. Happy, sad,sad Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  8. That’s amazing Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  9. I got the big Bubba blade and it is flexible and makes a clean and consistent cut down the backbone right through the bones. Filets come out perfect. Just might need to sharpen more often than Cutco. The big blade let’s you get a good distance per swipe before taking another pass so you aren’t sawing through with a smaller blade. 10. There are a lot of big Lakers out in 130 - 160' straight out of I-Bay and are pretty easy to catch using big flasher/flies, flasher/meat or cowbells/gambler rigs. I took my girlfriends son out a couple days ago for a couple hour salmon run after work and dropped the flasher meat down a few times to the Lakers to fill in the slower moments. Picked up one 12.3 and one 12.7. Both would have made the LOC board...for a short time. Threw them back because I didn't have enough time to go weigh them in. Good luck.
  11. Wish there was a better product. Mine has never worked right. Neither has my buddies. Very inconsistent. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  12. I have 400’ left on the spool and a new 1000’ spool. Both 32#. I’d sell either for whatever I paid. Think it was FishUSA. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  13. Thanks for the comments guys. Should be back in action soon. Good luck out there. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  14. Nice. Wondering if I needed to downsize my leaders. Might need to go for them today since some **** stole both of my downriggers a couple days ago. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  15. Just got to my boat at Bayview Marina on I Bay excited to fish tonight and took tomorrow off to fish as well. Found both downriggers stripped off of my mounts. Gone. Older Cannon Mag 10’s. Please let me know if you see anyone with newly acquired Mag 10’s. Had Scotty releases, one flat ball and one round ball. Definitely pony up a few hundred bucks if we find this idiot.
