  1. Thanks for the report! Just put in today and heading out this afternoon.
  2. I recently bought a 2013 Lowe FM 185 Pro WT as an option to take out on other lakes when Lady O is too rough for the salmon boat. Getting started thinking about how I want to trick it out and have a bunch of ideas. The sides have a low profile gunnel track but very few products advertised that will fit that. Any suggestions for things that have worked for you guys? Thinking three rods on each side and ond downrigger per side. Thanks, Dave
  3. Roger that, thanks. Very possible it ran into the dipsy wire.
  4. Thanks for the replies. Generally don't turn too sharp but I am using pancake weights. Curious how that might be causing it. They seem to track great.
  5. Hey All. I know I read a thread about coated downrigger cable getting shreaded and can't find it to see what the solution was. I put a new Depth Raider on at the end of last year, meticulously, and the cable was shot after 5 times out! Put it on a Cannon Mag 10 HS. I think someone put a pulley inline to center the cable, different brand, etc. ? Any suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance. Best, Dave

  7. Picked up this trophy in close before heading out for a few Lakers yesterday. Didn't quite have the fight left in him. Pretty sure if it had an address it would be directly in front of the nuke plant discharge pipe. Tasted delicious nonetheless. jk :)
  8. I’ll take them. Where about are you? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  10. I have it networked to my Garmin chartplotter so I can easily cursor over to a point and have the AP navigate directly to a specific waypoint. Pretty nice and essentially free if you have a chartplotter with NMEA 2000.
  11. I went with Raymarine EV-200 AP to control the Octopus cable drive. Works perfect. PM me if you want more details. The cable connection is back where the linkage is for the power assist. Not a bad install at all. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  12. I’m going to try to get out too. Shoot me a text. Happy to share any intel if I find something that’s working. I’m out of IBay too. 585-746-9833. Good luck! Dave Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
