Checked with a local spray foam insulation contractor. They wanted $600 to spray. Considering my compartments arent that big I thought that was pretty high. I will do some core samples of the foam to see if it is saturated. If it is and I rip it out how do you get new foam in. Manufacturers put floor down then drill holes and pour in the foam. I could do it that way but it looks like it would defeat the purpose since the foam would once again be touching the under side of the plywood. Havent been able to work on the boat due to monsoon weather. I like the idea of putting aluminim strips down for separation of the floor and foam, but 1/4" bar stock in the amount that I need is just too pricey. The foam was wet but I've pretty much got it dried out now. Left it open and had a fan on it for 3 days. Took a couple waves over the bow and got caught in a couple monsoon rainstorms. I ended up getting Sherwin Williams 2 part epoxy. Great warranty, great price. Around $75 for 2 gal. Got it tinted light gray with non skid additive. Will see how it goes. I can screw down through the aluminum runners to hold ply and the vinyl. Vinyl is 1/8" thick. Would probably have to drill. Will probably remove about 10" of carpet and run the bed liner up the sides a little ways. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Just removed the carpeting and found several areas that were rotten on the floor. Main floor was replaced 3 years ago with 3/4" marine ply. But they didn't seal it. Between the carpet and the floatation foam, new floor was already deteriorating. Anyone have any ideas as to what I can use to deal the underside of the plywood. After the blow Friday was able to get out in the evening. Had multiple hook ups on meat in 85 to 190 fow. Lost a hog at the back of the boat. Broke off the hot meat rig on a screamer. Put one decent fish in the boat. Saturday ran a 300 cooper of a tx 44 with f/f took a nice king almost immediately in 85 fow. Running riggers 65 to 90 as we got into deeper water. Nothing. Divers with f/f dead. Ran a 10 color core on tx 44 with an orange dot silver spoon for steelhead. Immediately took a nice king. The 10 color ended up taking 5 kings.
