    I thick you have a small air leak. Check vacuum lines, gasket and carb mounting bolts and assembly screws.

    I've used the man made channel on the west side It's 4 ft deep but lake has receded a foot or more. The channel is very narrow. Be careful. Hopefully the rain this week will help.
