I was wondering what is Chic pointing at? Main bearing cap. Ya did good it's even a 4 bolt main block. And as far as the back hoe and tree with the chain fall. Been there done it. What ever it takes to get er done.

stricken Send the serial # I'll do some research on it as too what c.i. it is. You should be able to convert it over to a new style standard delco with no problems. Jumping out of gear. What kind of drive is on it? i/o with a jack shaft, standard i/o or inboard?

stricken I may have a starter here. I'll have to do some checking. As for the alt.. Is it a delco or prestolite? altho back then it could be anything. Chris Craft used some off the wall parts back then especially with Ford power. Hank
