The ignition on my Yamaha 9.9 stopped working. I’m thinking it’s a bad kill switch or neutral switch. Does anyone know how to bypass these to test and temporarily fix it? I would like to get through this week until I can do a permanent fix. I'm also looking for someone that can do the fix for me if needed. Any recommendations would be appreciated. I'm in the Rochester area. Thanks.

The wind has been stiff out of the south the last few days. Glad you were able to find fish. Those spring Kings are a lot of fun. The forecast has the wind turning to the north Wednesday night. Hope they are right. That could set up the inshore fishing for the weekend.
I saw you out there in the Zodiac today. I caught 2 Salmon in the same area today. Lots of fish on the screen between the bay and Ship Builders. One fish came on a diver out 30 and one on the downrigger 20'down over 30. It's hard enough solo in a boat, must really be a challenge on a Zodiac. Congrats on the fish.
I didn't get out until almost 9:30. Set up just east of the bay. Lake was a little choppy with rollers out of the northeast. Trolled back and forth to the flagpole a few times without a touch. Slipped out to 60' to take a look but didn't see anything so came back shallow. When the lake settled down the fish started biting. Ended the day 4 for 7. 2 Browns and 2 Kings (15# and 18#). Every hit came on a Michigan Stinger NBK. 4 were 10-11 feet down on the rigger and 3 were on a Dipsey out 35 on a 3 1/2 setting. Not one hit on a stick bait. Also all hits came in 20' to 25' of water. Off the water by 2:00
I'm looking for input for a good net to use when fishing with stick baits. The two I have now are a real PITA with the treble hooks, so I'm in need of something that the lures don't get so wrapped up in.
2 Big Jon Downriggers. Each rigger is 36' and has 2 rod holders. Both motors work and are rated for 12# weights. These are 80's models and the booms do not except threaded extensions.
$250 picked up in Rochester NY.
PM with any interest.
