Two fishhawk 840 probes . I just put a 9v battery in each of them and they both flash. They both worked when I ran .them. One is missing the brakeaway cable , I let a guy borrow the cable,he broke his and I never got it back. You can still buy the cables around $10 bucks', not expensive, and readily available. A couple spares is nice Lowered price' $140 shipped or Best offer for both I do not know if they work with the new Fishhawks. Thanks Stan

The one on the left has a broken stud on the base and a broken stud in the tube."Dock rash" I tryed to drill out tube with a hand drill got drill off Center . 2- Okuma 45 D's Drags work OK and have not been rebuilt. clickers are good ,line counters work. These were fingerlake reels. Never really had screamers smokin the drags. Cannon manual down rigger. I could not find mounting base bracket. So there is NO BASE Bracket. You could rig something up or order one from Cannon. Has cable and ball connector and line counter. Finish is not perfect but quite nice,Would be cheap insurance If you already had one and it broke just slip this in the bracket.. $50.00 Shipped in NYS more for shipping farther out. Nutt.In the fingerlakes. Basic trolling. Zig Zag pattern. They hit on inside turn,your to fast, outside your to slow. If they dont bite one direction go the other way.In my opinion invest in a couple good wire dipsey rods. Run dodgers and watch your rod tips pulse. Fish the hooks on the depth finder.Pay attention to the wind. Works for me The down rigger wire that breaks will be the one with the $150 dollar probe or whatever they cost now. Lake ontario yes. But I fished out of Hughes and you just get on the radio and ask for temp..... You have to pay your dues,put your time in there is no sure fire fish catcher. After awhile you can tell by the bend in your dipsey if your speeds right.The angle of the downrigger cable at whatever depth your at.Even the vibration in the boat if things are not right. The more you fish the better fisherman you become. Yes i have down speed and temp.has not been down in years. I dont want to cause a argument here this is just my experience. I see I am in the minority. what a $7500 fish looks like
