  1. Don't know what calender you are using SC but yesterday mine said the date was "9/2" PK nice fish
  2. Ray we didn't think it was that big of a fish with the way it fought (maybe a big steelie we thought). One good run and then it came right to the boat and didn't look huge, kinda like you used to be short and FAT until I got it in the net and went to lift it As far as staying calm you bet, until that bad boy hit the deck then it was high fives and get the gear in and lets run. The bad part was when we made the run and Kirk was driving and the boat engine shut off just about 1/4 mile from the creek . Ran the engine oil out but had a little to put in and we were good to go You wanna come out here and we can show ya how to get the big fish next year for the PRO AM
  3. Great fish and that's another one out of Sandy creek in the last 2 days (our 34.08) which is really great to see after the slow king fishing lately. Sorry you weren't in the derby but keeps ours in 6th so thanks
  4. 34lbs 8oz caught aboard the FISHINMAN by Kirk Smith on 8/30 currently in 6th place. 430 FOW west of Sandy creek on a nk spook (slider).
  5. My buddy Kirk and I landed this beauty in 430 fow west of Sandy creek, it's currently in 6th place
  6. Keith, Scott, Rob and anybody else that helped in putting together the event , THANK YOU VERY MUCH . The weather was tough and the fishing even tougher (we trolled all the way to the flats in Pt Breeze ) but it was a fun time and a very nice turnout especially for something put together in a short time. The fishermen and women that worked and participated in this should applauded also for raising some nice for the Sandy Creek pen rearing through the 50/50 drawing (by the way felt nice to finally win a raffle prize because "I never win these things" ..... or in this case 2 prizes ) Team Fish FX (Shawn, Kirk and myself) thanks you and look forward to doing it again next year and trying to improve on our 6th place finish That's now 2 for 2 on 6th place finishes for this guy in first time tourneys (2007 Sodus Pro Am on team L.O.U.S.E.R.S back when they actually caught fish in Pro Ams ) and now the 1st Sandy Creek Shootout on team Fish FX. Happy to say that (nick named the sea sick waddler by a couple of goof balls on here ) no longer will apply to me after not even feeling the least bit queasy today after taking 2 Dramamil last night. Bring on the bad weather
  7. Oh goody My kind of Tourney weather again. WTF Pro-Am all over again. Bob get a hold of Joy for me
  8. Happy Birthday Matt
  9. Jeff I spoke with Bruce from Sandy Creek Marina this morning and he will have some extra dock-age available for over night at $20 or if you want to just launch from there it's $10. There is a gate that needs to be unlocked so you would need to call him to have him meet you there to unlock it (he lives right there). You could also call Jerry and have him meet you there at like 3am. Don't worry you won't wake him he's up eating cold pizza about that time I'm sure
