Rick the more people that hear this new technology is that good we will have the same problem we do during the Regular Season.......At least in my neck of the woods.....maybe three hunters in a good sized area.....Gun Season I am tripping over guys..........SSSSSHHHHHHHHH.......They still have to harness that incredible bow before they can get that accurate....hahaha.... I love that first Bow Season because the woods are almost virgin...........Woody.

Hank I just picked up a brand new Diamond Triumph the end of October and the kid who set the bow up said this is your 20 yard pin thru 60 yard pin..... I said kid I have never shot over 20 yards before......He said just let me show you.......Within 10 minutes I was shooting accurately to 30 yards and he said go home and practice.....I am shooting very accurately at 50 yards and I could shoot to 60 yards......Now I need a range finder when I get over about 40 yards it is hard to figure distance.......That new technology is awesome.........I have the Diamond Triumph (Bowtech) which is a 70lb bow shooting 310 fps, with carbon fiber arrows and a whisker biscuit.......Tru glow sights......This bow is the best 600 I ever spent and I bagged a awesome buck already happier than a pig in @#$%....................

Yup that yellow car has some serious horsepower, just keep wearing my boots out when I have to come to a stop !!!!!!!!!!!!!

On November 6th this bad boy came out about an hour after a little 4 pointer showed himself but did not offer a decent shot so I passed......Boy am I happy the little guy did not give me a shot....This deer dressed out at 214 lbs........I took this at about 40 yards with my brand new Diamond Triumph Bow......Deer went maybe 50 yards and I watched it go down from the stand.................Gotta love that new technology........Good luck to everybody tomorrow .. Woody I had those Magdas but they cost me a couple of fish because of the drags so I ditched them and have surfed ebay looking for decent used reels.....I have a bunch of older Daiwas and Penn 320 GTI's..... Very nice and no problems........Woody.

Nick good report I just got back in town late last night from running two cars to Florida for a guy out of the city......Sorry to hear fishing was not good this weekend I am hoping that things will settle down in the next day or so and I can get out for a Salmon or two......Nick are you coming up friday for the start of the derby or Saturday......I am not sure yet if I will be out on Friday......Woody....

I will not be out this weekend as I have to run a couple cars to West Palm Beach and will be back monday afternoon.....We usually hang out on 08 or 09......I will be out next weekend on my boat the Mud Chicken call me if you are out there.....Woody..

CDS I personally only like to run the dodger/Fly combos off the wires, and run only spoons off the riggers.....It is something I learned from a Charter boat Captain.....I have not had any problems except for running a leadcore down the chute with the full spread....From now on the lead will be run off a church board or my big boards....Typical spread will have both wires with the dodger/flies and spoons off the riggers and the lead with a spoon depending on where the thermocline is.......Woody.

CDS, We have had some real good luck with the lures you spoke of....Another hot lure is the Green Thunder and 42nd spoon, Magenta shad for the brownines and the Chicken Wing.....Also any white or green ehip with either a silver/white fly or a green fly.......I have run my one and only spin doctor to no avail.....I do not have much confidence right now in that spinny.... Once I personally start getting some action with it, it will be run more often............Another thing most of fish have come with the screen mostly blank....Where I find a great screen has been pretty unproductive for me in the last week.......Woody. Yeah Nick we have been running rubber bands anytime I have the dipseys out with a very loose drag....This is the first time after a 20 minute fight we lost the fish and had the treble hook missing off the fly..... Maybe it was just a bad leader on the fly or one bad @#@ Salmon which I am in favor of.......We usually scan between channel 07 or 08 so I can keep in contact with the Pennsylvania connection, Jus lookin, Scotch and Sodus and Reel Me Mike who is actually from Cortland............Woody.
