if you think its bad here go north of the border.80$$that includes the 10$$ outdoors card that gives you the privledge to buy a license and without it you cannot puchase one.im sure that will be comin here soon also,i wish that all outdoor activities could chip in with some cash ,but its goin to be trappers. fishers and hunters who pay -

forgot to add that there was also no one fishing at all.very odd.mabey 6or 8 people at northport, annes point and mabey a dozen at the narrows, ran into team quinte at the narrows thursday noon and they where packin up.shouldve followed them around like a dog i guess.well it was better than work. BUT FOR THE YEAR.i went twice early feb and late feb, punched over100 holes and have no eyes to show for it,is it the fishery taken a dive with the natives[indians] harvesting all the walleyes they want,or just a poor year??and so long 4 now;john

what a great job of catch and release.no fuss no mess and no angry 15lb fish slopping around your boat breakin ****e.and so long 4 now;john -
the best and safest[weather] place to launch and be close???? to the fish may be fremac's on the south side in lakeport.straight out of the launch and to the west is a good weed bar for eyes, perch or bass.after that head slightly ne after you pass 22 fow you will come to another weed bed.same deal.after that, north east ,the water starts to drop off to 22-32 fow.eyes and bass.and you are still less than 2 miles from shore!!if you keep headin ne you will come to 38 to 42 fow these are the pancakes, still less than 3 miles away from shore and walleye territory.the lake is full of bait.good luck and hope this helps.and so long 4 now;john
