  2. Hey Ray that was a good bananna. You should have run the peel behind a green spinnie thingie it was the right color. Now I know why you kept handing me the rod with the pink line. Hey Musky, he doesn't go naked with strangers aboard,he kept his shorts on. Oh Iguess he was being nice and didn't tell you I lost every good fish I hooked onto. Had a great day also. Give,em hell Ray. Mike.
  3. Hey that looks like Sergio Garcia,I think he cought it on glow spinnyy and a titlelest xp pro Staft no seeum. LoLLLl.
  4. Fishinman, You should have a good compass on your boat that you know how to use and verify your GPS readings. Its true you have to be moving to get accurate readings. It gets easier with time. Been there and did that. Good luck and good catching.
  5. Hey Ray theres no such thing as an old probe if that what there talking about. They send then back for a rebuild or you find them on the bottom. LoL.
  6. Hey Musky, if you buy fifty at a time in the spring,by fall the money you save on gas will pay for the fifty flys and the curtains.
  7. ITB you can't just buy one you need at least six of each color And Echips and spin doctors to match. Oh they take Master Card. Good luck on the pond.
  8. Those are great looking trophys. It will sure look good on the bow of my boat.HaHaHa. Good work gentlemen.

  10. The guys on the Finger lakes got it made, hunt turkey in the morning and fish all afternoon and maybe go after Eyes before dark. I'll be down in Hector tues.morning fore birds and I think I'll bring the boat and hit Seneca after lunch. Hey Ray, is the Glen the best place to put the boat in? Mike.
  11. If you launch At Charlotte don't leave anything in your truck you want. Last year I got broken into there, but its still a good launch.
  12. Big Fisherman, I diped smelt at the Salmon river years ago.To manny beer cans and bottles on the beach, wood torn off camp for fires. Last I knew when they built the break wall they closed the mouth of the river to shore fisherman. Check it out I maybe wrong. Check Dec, regs. you can only take a small pail ,maybe 10qts. Good luck.
  13. Anyone know if there still going to fill the pens at the Genny tomorrow. I'd like to get some pictures.
  14. I ran stright #40 oil to keep the oil pressure up at low RPMs, around 500. Ford 302s.IBs.
  15. Good morning and happy Easter to all of you hard workers at the river yesterday. I was there also. The old guy with the carhearts. It was good to see the way everyone jumped in and did there share, but it was to cold to stand around and talk.It nice of you guys that that drove up from east B----- to do there share also. I saw your van Ray, but we didn't meet. Next outing we should wear name tags. Mike.
  16. If your not in a hurry to by wire keep an eye on Dicks sp. goods. I bought two 1000ft.spools of Mason seven strand for 27.00 a spool early last year.I couldn't grab it fast enought when I saw the price. By the way, I was trolling and reached over and put the dipse reel in free spool to let out more wire, at the same time a salmon hit it. The backlash was so bad all I could do was hang on till the fish riped off. Should have thumbed the spool first. Oh well. Had to cut the wire off. BTW 600ft. of wire isn't enought.Had one spool 600ft. and break the backing at the knot. I know it was a bad knot but if I had a 1000ft it wouldn't have happened. It cost me $30.00 for wire + a dipse + a dodger+ fly. Thats about $60.00 out the window. Some times more is less. Have a good season!!!!!
  17. Aaah Mr. Sluggo I gotta stick my nose in to say the book thing sounds like a winer. It might make a good reality show, and as long as everyone is giving up there secret tactic I'll throw mine in.I tie about 30ft. of f-carbon 50lb test to the skies. Use jet divers to get down, then a 6ft.leader with a small dodger and Jenson firer plug. Great for LLs. You get two more lines out and know one knows. The ski acts like a bobber. Good luck. Oh please don't run the skiers to far apart, its a narrow lake. thank you. Mike.
  18. Your right L&M the Davenports are good people,I did busness with them since 1990 and they allways treated me right.
  19. Try Davenports bait shop, east side of baybridge.I don't know there prices but there open from 5:30 am to 9:00 pm. Have gas pump and the price will be as low as anyones unless you hall your own. 1-315-5874434. Mike.
  20. I'd stay away from the crestliners. The welded hull cracks.Friend had a 24ft,had to take it out of state to have it welded two or three times. Other than that its a nice boat.Mike.
  21. Hey muskybob I didn't know the pole was a airloom. Oh well guess I'll give mine to chaos, I don't need out riggers anyway.
  22. Hey muskybob,if chaos takes you in and up dates your tackle can I have your cane pole??? I need one more , want to put outriggers on the boat. Thanks.
