  4. ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s):6/27/10 Time on Water:7am - 10:30 am Weather/Temp: Hazy - warm 80s Wind Speed/Direction: light south wind Waves: less than 1ft Surface Temp: 66 deg =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 7 Total Boated: 3 Species Breakdown: Kings Hot Lure: Green Spin Doctor - Green Atommik Trolling Speed: 2.4 Down Speed: 2.2 Boat Depth: 220-300 Lure Depth: 100-130 ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Fishing has greatly improved over the last week. Larger kings along with nice steelhead are showing up on the east end. Got a later start today. Started in 150 fow and trolled north. Was setting up rods and had a knockoff on our 100ft rigger. Set that back up and then the 240 starboard wire dipsey (Green SD and Green Atommik fly) starts singing. My fishing buddy Zach quickly hopped on the rod and we landed a nice king about 15 lbs. Trolled for a little bit and worked towards my waypoints from yesterday's atommik challenge trip. Around 8:30 the portside 370 wire dipsey green/ green (takes a dive and sings our favorite tune). A few minutes later Zach lands another 15 lber. We reload all the rods and just about to put the slider on our rigger, then the starboard dipsey (out 370 green/ green again) gets kissed and gets pulled out to 600 on the line counter. After clearing all the rods and chasin him down. Zach finally lands his biggest fish ever. 24 lbs. Few more hit and runs after on our 130 ft rigger, but all came unbuttoned. Looks like the waters on the east end are starting to set up nicely for hopefully a nice summer fishery. About time and hope it stays. fishawk probe - read 52 degrees at 90 foot down and 44 degrees at 120 down. over 220 - 300 fow. Weather depending - will get out a bunch on my vacation 4th of July week. will report results. Good luck, and tight lines.

Hope you enjoy the post: WE STAYED HERE: WE ATE HERE: WE FISHED NEAR HERE: WE WATCHED THIS A LOT: AND THIS HAPPENED QUITE A FEW TIMES: END RESULTS: HAPPY FISHERMAN !! Report: Got to fish Sun thru Thurs (Blown off on Wed and thurs pm) Mostly a spoon bite for us but paddles and flies got a few hits. We worked the Red Can Area from 50-220 fow. Most of hits came down 50-90 ft before 10am. Lots of Black, Greens and silvers in our presentations. We hit the LOC board for about 12 hours with our largest salmon at 22.15 on Monday. Caught many others in the 15-20lb range. Lots of Quality fish weighed in this year. Fishing was not SUPER but it was great to get out on vacation, fish and not work. 13. Thanks FF. We launched at Treman State park. Very nice place and facilities to launch. We were in shallow in the am 15-20ft and deeper 100-150 later on. regular sized thundersticks and spoons were the ticket. silver , oranges and yellows were good for us. marking decent bait pods most of the day. find them and work them. Good luck
  14. Nice catch and Pics - thanks for sharing your reports.
  15. Teamed Up with 'lil boat-Dan and Dave' aboard the 'DOCK TUR WIZ' with capn Jack on his 2010 maiden voyage. Worked a nice pod of Browns and few LLS today and were rewarded with with some quality fish. Ended up boating 8 browns (3-11lbs), 7 salmon (mostly smaller ones) , and a few hit and runs. The top 30ft of water was productive for us with hits on everything - riggers, flat lines, leadcore, and dipsies. stickbaits early with spoons getting the action later in the am. Wind kicked up from the NW a bit in the 1st hr of fishing but laid down to a nice fishy chop. Thanks Again Jack! - Great way to start the 2010 fishing season. Enjoy the pics and Tight Lines Always!
  16. Wtg Dan, nice reports and pic. Awesome fishin day to break in the boat for the 2010 season.
