  1. $20 to enter- but the payouts make it worth the $$$$$
  2. We signed up last weekend and will be fishing both Saturday and Sunday. Hopefully this will be another year where Sandy Creek sweeps the prizes. Too bad the fishing has been so hit and miss recently
  3. Brand new fish hawk 840 tri-ducer (transducer) for sale. This is for the surface temp/speed reading as well as recieving info from the probe. Brand new- still in box with invoice of $249 + shipping. Will sell for $225. Send me a PM if intersted.
  4. Did anyone else see this? Look at today's fishing report: http://www.attheoak.com/fishrpt.html
  5. On the water at 5:15 AM, went to 80 FOW to set up. Had great temp and marks- but the wind and current was terrible. Hit a 9-10 lb king down 72 on a purple NBK, then another king- same size down 66- same spoon- both in about 100 FOW. Missed 3 others on flasher/fly and a getter done- Yeck zipper. Turned north after the sun was up- landed a nice 8 lb steelie 55 down over 180 fow on the zipper. Ended up 3 for 6, back home by 8:15 AM. I thought the lake was setting back up but the water temp had changed by almost 10 degrees in the time we were out- due to the strong south wind. Looks like the fish will stay deep form a while longer
  6. We were on the water at 5 AM, fished for about 15 minutes. Had great bait and marks from 75-105 FOW- then the storm came from the west. Cleared rods and hit the mouth of Sandy still on plane
  7. Brian- I will take it- give me a call when you get a chance. Foster
  8. Usually between $1000-$1500 depending on make/model and your boat set up. They usually work off of GPS
  9. Rob- I am switching all of mine from the Tite Locs to Bernts. They sell them at Gander and are worth every penny

  12. You can just give me the $500 if you want- or all of your Diawa 47 LCs and the big jon plainer reels and your sppon box and net and cannon ball holders............... The list goes on and on. Are you missing anything else besides the big spool of line?
  13. 16' Smokercraft with a 30 HP Chrysler outboard and trailer for sale. In the past year, the transom and all the flooring has been replaced. Carpet is all rubber-backed and all brand new. Seats are also new. This is a great boat for bass/pan fishing as well as duck hunting. Asking $1350 or best offer. Contact 585-356-7642 Thanks!!
  14. Jeff- I could write some sort of a joke about you not having to worry about what kind of hooks are on your spoons- since the only time you catch fish is when you are on my boat. Like always- 2 in the pink, 1 in the _____ WSA2943 Schoolmaster on the side of 70- over and out
  15. Tank- Glad you will be fishing soon. It has been great for the past week or so. We docked at Sleepy Hollow a few years ago; but I like being closer to the lake at Bruce's. Give me a shout if you make it out this weekend, If the weather is good, I will be out both days. Foster
  16. Tank- I saw your boat on the trailer a few weeks ago in front at the marina. When are you going out again??? Foster
  17. There was a report from this AM- I think 150-200 FOW 30 to 60 down
  18. Robby- MANY bad experiences- usually from having "friends" on the boat that are in-experienced. Resulting in lost divers and loosing fish on the riggers becuase they can not get the wire cleared fast enough. Foster
  19. I am in theprocess of re-rigging my dipseys and wondering thoughts on wire vs fire line. I know wire goes deeper and catches fish- BUT I hate running it!!! Thoughts?
  20. I run all cannon mag 10s on my boat. My back riggers at about 2 foot boom, side riggers at about 3 foot boom. I too had MANY problems with my cables crossing, especially in the wicked currents off Braddocks Point. After a few trips, I finally figured out that my back riggers must run deeper then the sides. My rigger with the probe- always being the deepest. Becuase of the blowback from the depth and the probe, my other back rigger is between 7-10 feet above it. When I catch a fish on one of the deep riggers, I clear and re-set the adjacent side rigger. I have not had my cables cross or any other problem since- including lure tangles. I can run my side riggers within 5-10 feet in depth to my back riggers without an issue to get all the lures in the strike zone Some guys will argue that it might be "overkill" but it literally takes less then 1 minute and you would be surprised how many times you will pull a rod to find some seaweed or garbage on the hook. I would rather take the extra minute to re-set that troll for an hour with a chunk of garbage on my hook.
