  7. I have never had to get out of the boat and push even with 6 people on board. Still runs 32 with 6 passengers. Thats what i like about the etec. Awesome power, super fuel economy, 300 less moving parts and still trolls down to 1.7 mph. I have the 300 hour computer diagnostic readout to verify all. 22. Jim I am not an expert but I have installed quite a few transducers. I liked thru hulls in my fiberglass hulls but not aluminum. I have a fishmaster 196 and have 3 transom mount transducers on the back. If it is installed properly ( level with the hull and 1/4" below the hull line) you won't lose bottom track or depth. I run a raymarine dragonfly and have no problem with that at 35 mph. Have run many transom mount transducers and thru hulls on my charter boats and they were all satisfactory. Airmars. 24. Call the special permits office in the syracuse state office building and ask for jeremy. He will tell you exactly what you need. And yes you need lights, insurance and so forth. The most important thing you need is a pre planned travel route with every turn and route number spelled out. Done this dozens of times. 40.00, 80.00 or 360.00 depending on duration of permit. 25. If he charged accordingly noone would want to afford a charter. Ask any charter captain what percentage of the fee he is able to put towards his health insurance, and what percentage of the fee goes into his retirement account and what percentage of the fee he puts away towards his 15% SOCIAL SECURITY TAX AND 20% FEDERAL INCOME TAX and what percentage of the fee ends up profit? Everyone knows a true business must must cover those costs. And does he pay himself $12.00 an hour for his time and experience? Just saying add it all up if you are treating him like a formal business and you will find out he is working for nothing if all is considered. $600.00 won't go that far. Again i know from17 years of experience. I also have a full time business for 25 years. I know the ins and outs. He does it for the love of the sport and all his efforts don' t show to the common patron. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
