I feel your pain. I have had seven hunts ruined this year. Three pheasant hunters, one duck hunter, one couple out for a hike, one bungling bow hunter, and one guy checking trail cams. I expect there will be an army of scouters out getting ready for gun season this weekend so my total should climb.

I use doe in estrous but not as most do. I use it as a nose jammer on my down wind side. I want deer to gently spook from doe scent rather than know a human is there.

Luckily he took his bow. After confirming my suspicions about the area with many deer trails and scrapes, my brother sat down on a log to text me excitedly. In mid-text, a ten pointer walks by him, glances twice at him then continues on to check his scrape. My brother arrowed him at 8 yards. He is a 6x4.
