    I am seeing signs of spring. The first wave of Starlings have arrived. Lake Erie is not frozen and probably won’t with the change in weather coming. Olcott harbor has very little ice that is unstable. Hold onto those March start date dreams.

    The other answer is use two 300' coppers but put a musky torpedo at the start of the leader on in inside copper.

    Small glow tungsten jig head with waxworms. They needed to be teased. Start on the bottom and slowly move the bait higher while tingling the rod. Rinse and repeat. Present super slow.

    My takeaway from the video was that despite the turbid water conditions, they were doing quite well with super long leaders.

    I believe that is a disease called “Ick”. Happens during stress of spawning. Brown get it a lot when spawning. Some heal fine after returning to the lake.

    There are no more tackle stores in WNY that carry anything worth mentioning in the tape realm. I second madriver. They also put stuff on eBay. Look at their UV moonjelly glow tape. As the hot sauce advertisement states “I put that sh!t on everything”

    Silver lake has 7” of ice.

    Everyone should have a Casper white. I customize all my stuff do I don’t mind sharing. Atomik glow white/UV head to pair with it.
