Braddocks bay and long pond skunked
iceman05 replied to Dshart's topic in Musky, Tiger Musky & Pike (ESOX)
I fish Braddocks a lot due to it being a mile from house and i haven't seen it pick up like it was last year. Although I can tell ya when it gets tough a white rattle trap usually always produces some fish on hard days. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

Fished from six to noon...fishing was slow for northerns n tigers in the a.m. So we switched to bass for a few hours only to catch 3. At about 10am we went back to big fish and boated one small tiger and lost one at the boat and another follow. All the action was in the north east edge at about 10-14 foot of water...the only lure getting action was a 6 inch phantom lure ....colors used were whitefish and perch...surface water temp was 71-73 Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I have a pair of Big Jon down riggers in decent shape, reels have cable on them already. Riggers do need new clutches which is $10 from big jon. What you see in the pic is what I have. Would be a good for a starter or a finger lakes boat. $150 OBO. I work odd hours so Message me and ill get back to you. I'm located in Rochester.

I hit ice at 2:00 and fished until dark and caught 0 fish. A buddy ran tip ups and I jigged. Only saw 2 pike and 2 perch caught. Ice was 3(2in clear ice and 1in of white ice) in out past the docks with about 2in of snow it. Everyone seemed to have a slow am as well.

Both have good wire on them .They do need new clutches . I called big jon they said it would be $10 for new ones. $200 obo for the pair Id like to sell them as a pair. -
Hey guys I ended up taking a doe to Steve Tillich for processing he is on manitoue rd in Greece between ridge rd and mill rd .....his number is 775-2434....I had a Great experience and it was well worth the $70 and will use him again
-
Thanks for the number FX, I planned to use him this am but it was a slow morning in the woods, The deer must have been buying Obamacare and forgot it was opening day.
-
Hey Tomb thanks for the info. I'll for sure check it out this year
-
Hey guys does anyone know of a decent deer processing place in the Hilton/Brockport/Greece area. I usually cut my own up but with a new born at home it will be easier to just drop it off this year. I've always heard of guy who lived on peck road then moved 15 times and no one ever has an updated number for him. Any info would be great.

I was on braddocks 1/3/13. ice was spotty at best drilled 7 holes that all ranged from 2.5in to 4in of all white ice as well there was a good coating of snow . a few small pike were caught and no one had any perch and everyone i talked to confirmed the fishing has not be good at all. I fished the south side of the dock and it was about 2ft of water however guys were all over the ice and few inside the docks. Becareful if you go as the ice isnt the best and good luck ps looks like a guy took a swim about 10 ft off shore on cranberry(foot prints going out then a big hole and foot prints coming back)
