  1. The problem is Gaffman isnt used to catching big fish, So 6in perch and 22in pike get him really excited. Sorry buddy I told you to stop posting about coopers.
  2. Well Gaffman i guess we already know I always beat you when it comes to size........But hey second place is the 1st the loser so in all reality we both came in 1st . Lets hit conesus next sat and I'll give you a few pointers.Had a great time .Although wish you could of been there today. No fish but plent of and cheese dogs.
  3. Well I fished braddocks today from 7-100 with no luck. One 8" Perch. Guys fishing out in the middle seem'd to being doing ok for big Perch. However I'd like to thank the guy who drilled a hole a foot off my tent in my set up to place his tip up and the others who fished about 6" from my tip up's. Some people have no sportmens ethic. I guess I'll have to wait for other spots to freeze where the lazy wont go.
  4. Hey scott glad to see you got out there. Would of like to been able to catch the perch like that. But maybe that one moster pike I got scared them all away that day. ha Hopefully I bay freezes back up again. Althought I didnt do to well there here its been slow along with all the ponds. Thanks for the report though.
  5. Hey chad thanks for posting the pic. I wasnt sure how to do it from the phone / I was way to tired. The Ice is plenty fine 6" for most of the cove and 8"in some spots. There were guys fishing and hunting out in the middle. Solid Ice every where. Most of the fish we got came about 20ft off the docks. We even had a small northen hit a jig with pink spikes, never got him through the hole but fun.
  6. Fished from 7am to 4pm. We did 5 pike biggest being 9.2lbs the rest were all about 21". No panfish what so ever. lost a few pike at the hole and the bite was slow but steady when they turned on.
  7. I'm headed down to Conesus Monday in search of pike. Any reports of the north or south end holding fish. Fished I-Bay with poor results last week.
  8. Looking to fish I-Bay tomorrow for bass n pike any suggestions. Fished braddocks all last weekend and had 2 hits but neither made it to the boat. Fishing in braddocks has seemed to slow down quite a bite. So im looking forward to trying I-bay if anyone knows what they are hitting on and in what FOW. Thanks boys
  9. Hey i've got a cottage up on the river. Ive found the best bet is the featherbed shole, but you need to be very careful fishing it or you'll lose your boat. Other than that might trying trolling rapalas in 12 to 18 FOW or drifting with with small jigs with a white body tipped with a worm that always works. Hope that helps. Mark
