  1. Another beautiful day on the lake. Fished from ~5:30-10:30. Pulled a rainbow out of 100 fow west of pumphouse within 5 minutes. Fished around into 40 fow and back out. There was bait and some marks but I was not patient enough to wait for the rods to move. Found some salmon from 200-250 fow just east of mouth. Boated 5 salmon, chinook and atlantic, three largest were 8-10 lbs. They liked purple spoons and a gin and tonic stinger down 30 and a yellow no-see-um fly 150 out on a diver.
  2. Fished 4 rods for a couple hours between the pumphouse and the mouth. Pulled two rainbows 9 lbs. and 6lbs both on a 25 foot rigger 125 back. One in 75 fow and the other in bout 125. Saw a lot of bait and hooks from 40-70 fow sitting in about 65 degree water? Nice sunset.

  4. Thanks, good to be back out. Still have a hand full of equipment problems to work out...I'll spare you the details When I'm shaped up I may be ready to ask you to come out and show me how to add copper and lead core to the arsenal??
  5. Fun weekend aboard vessel Godzilla. It was nice to introduce my girlfriend to lake fishing. Saturday morning had most luck a bit west on spoons off 30 foot riggers and shallow divers with spoons on them. Circled around 200 fow. Boated a few rainbows and 5 kings, a few good size. Wonderbread stinger was a popular spoon. Sunday the fish were in a little more shallow for us, 100-150 fow was good right in front and a little east. Most action was on spoons from 30-55 feet down. Took a few on divers out 75 and 150 with a 3 setting. Green eveything was the ticket for me, my favorite all time glow froggy stinger grabbed most of the attention. Finished up with a couple rainbows and 7 kings, 3 nice meaty ones.
  6. Worked the shallow water for almost 2 hours starting early morning. Very little action. Found some scattered bait between 200-225 fow and very few marks. Brought in a 15 pound king, a 6 and a 12 pound bow. The three were caught on 55 and 60 foot riggers. Lost a diver fish that was set at 3 1/2 out 225.
  7. Saturday morn- Haven't been out in over a month...good to be back Got out early with my friend and worked a while to turn up two kings in 70 fow off Watoma. 12 pounder on the rigger 45 down, 18 pounder on wire 130 out on a 3 setting spinny/fly. Sunday afternoon with a two man crew again. Boated seven steelies and two kings, one small and one about 12 pounds. Most fish taken in 140 fow in front of pump house. 35 down on the riggs on goldielocks. A couple taken on wire 150 out on a 3 with a blue twinkie. Around 5:30pm warm water came up and the fishing turned off for us.
  8. Gambler- The steelies were in that day huh, I put one on the board and just missed with another. They both hit a j behind a diver. All steelies and no kings...well lost a couple small ones. Sounds like the big brownies were in tight as well.
  9. Rob- What is your set up like with spoons behind your divers. I've tried it in the past but usually keep flashers/flies and meat behind my divers. I'm particularuly interetsted in the line length between the diver and the spoon and maybe any flash you might put in front of the spoon. Rich
  10. Lots of bait in the 30-70 fow range, a few marks. We managed one 18 lb. king in 50 fow on a kavorkian stinger down 37. Stayed inside today, probably try bows a bit deeper tomorrow. Good luck
  11. We ended up landing 6. Most of the fish were in the 5' range. The water was surprisingly steady around 48 degrees.
  12. I'm in between graphs so I appreciate the heads up. Yeah, last spring was awesome for us too, haven't been out much at all yet.
  13. Gentlemen- How are the temps setting up out there in front? Do you see any definition?
